This is one of my favourite trains ever! (Right below AK Rajdhani and BCT ADI AC Double Decker). Glad that you have covered it. It used to be much slower a couple of years ago. MPS used to be 110 km/h and the 12907 BDTS to NZM leg of MH SK used to take almost 21 hours. Now, it's almost as fast as a Rajdhani. Taking only 16 and a half hours from Mumbai to Delhi. Awesome train. PS - I call it the Non AC Rajdhani PS Again - I feel that MH SK along with BDTS - NZM Garib Rath should be made daily trains.

So the 333 km stretch between Nagda and Sawai Madhopur was covered in 3 hrs and 24 mins. Astonishing!! The delhi-kota-baroda sector is a speed lovers delight!

I think Maharashtra Sampark Kranti is better than Mumbai Rajdhani in Mumbai New Delhi route

Good question! It was nostalgic for sure. In fact, I traveled on the Ratlam-Mathura section nearly 28 years after my 1995 Raj and AK Raj trips.
