With this kind of writing and production, I fully expect them to recast Gabby in 6 months and have her wake up in labor and that all of this has been a fever dream she's been having from a complicated pregnancy because of the stabbing. Not able to realize that none of that happened and having the audience and her have to navigate a world and Salem that is nothing like what we all believed from her dream. (That's still too intelligent a concept for them to pull off well. They wouldn't think it all through properly.) It's a ridiculous concept but it would be a more fascinating watch as the dream may have only been a year but we the audience don't realize that in reality 3 to 5 years could have passed before this pregnancy or vice-versa, the dream could have felt like 2 years but was only 9 months in reality. All things that would need to be vetted to allow for the most compelling, organic and truthful storytelling to come forward. To allow the actors the opportunities to create beauty and connect to their audience and fans. To once again have the respect of the fans and hear praise over the current unified disdain for everything this show has become in the last year. Behind the scenes is a mess, and it's translating clearly on screen as well.
