Sr. Gaudia Skass, OLM shared the second part of her talk on spiritual warfare. The first part of this talk can be found under this link: • “Faustina, the Warrior... . In the second part Sister talks about how to get prepared for all kinds of battles in our lives and shares with us 3 rules on how to win. Having in her mind the context of the whole “Diary” of St. Faustina she draws 3 overarching strategies which Jesus gives us in the passages quoted below. Listen to this inspiring talk to face your daily battles with confidence and boldness!
“I want to teach you about spiritual warfare. Never trust in yourself, but abandon yourself totally to My Will.
In desolation, darkness and various doubts, have recourse to Me and to your spiritual director. He will always answer you in My Name.
Do not bargain with any temptation; lock yourself immediately in My Heart and, at the first opportunity, reveal the temptation to the confessor.
Put your self-love in the last place, so that it does not taint your deeds. Bear with yourself with great patience. Do not neglect interior mortifications.
Always justify to yourself the opinions of your Superiors and of your confessor. Shun murmurers like a plague. Let all act as they like; you are to act as I want you to.
Observe the rule as faithfully as you can. If someone causes you trouble, think what good you can do for the person who caused you to suffer.
Do not pour out your feelings. Be silent when you are rebuked. Do not ask everyone’s opinion, but only the opinion of your confessor; be as frank and simple as a child with him.
Do not become discouraged by ingratitude. Do not examine with curiosity the roads down which I lead you.
When boredom and discouragement beat against your heart, run away from yourself and hide in My Heart.
Do not fear struggle; courage itself often intimidates temptations, and they dare not attack us. Always fight with the deep conviction that I am with you.
Do not be guided by feeling, because it is not always under your control; but all merit lies in the will.
Always depend upon your Superiors, even in the smallest things.
I will not delude you with prospects of peace and consolations; on the contrary, prepare for great battles.
Know that you are now on a great stage where all heaven and earth are watching you.
Fight like a knight, so that I can reward you. Do not be unduly fearful, because you are not alone.” (Diary #1760)
“February 3, (1938). Today after Holy Communion, Jesus again gave me a few directives:
First, do not fight against temptation by yourself, but disclose it to the confessor at once, and then the temptation will lose all its force.
Second, during these ordeals do not lose your peace; live in My Presence; ask My Mother and the saints for help.
Third, have the certitude that I am looking at you and supporting you.
Fourth, do not fear either struggles of the soul or any temptations, because I am supporting you; if only you are willing to fight, know that the victory is always on your side.
Fifth, know that by fighting bravely you give Me great glory and amass merits for yourself. Temptation gives you a chance to show Me your fidelity.” (Diary #1560)
I thought I was Christian. I found out I was wrong. I did not really know Jesus until I read "Diary of Saint Faustina"! If not for her, I would have lost my soul. She had such a formidable soul. I am not sure how she endured and overcame obstacles. However; she loved God a thousand times more. She is a great teacher and her diary can be your daily "spiritual vitamin". You won't be the same afterwards. Prayer becomes like a delicious wine. You become addicted! You become holy!
Just like Faustina, this sister is a softly spoken spiritual Colossus.
Father God , l pray for all abortions , through out the whole world , for conversion , salvation , and remission , for all their sins , Amen , .
Jesus l trust in you , lord l pray , for others , that they may have salvation , and live with you in your Heavenly kingdom , come Amen .
This talk came to me as grace when I was in greatest need
This is JUST OUTSTANDING! We are ALL in the battle of life, there is NO ESCAPE FROM IT. The only thing that is, is the friends we pick in the battle. Familiar Spirits that beat us up and halt us in the battle, or the friends of The Father! I thought this was good enough to pass on! Fix our eyes on Jesus, lest we sink instead of walking on the water, the waters, the familiar’s that beat us up…. Includes me too!
This is such a gift. Thank You for praying for us and our wounds, Sisters.

Thank you for all of your hard work bringing practical points to apply to our life. Saint Faustina is still listening and alive because like her you are encouraging souls!!
If we dont pray daily, we become a prey for our enemies - the world, the flesh (our own weak natures) and the evil one! Keep praying if you sinner or holy.

At last I got to hear the 2nd Part. Your words are like balm to my soul. Please pray for me as I am evangelizing a family member who has gone astray. Pray for me so that the Holy Spirit guide me. Thank you. God be with you 🙏
Spent many decades with soldiers who are seasoned in battle and witnessed how it affects them. This talk is very relatable in that become a soft target for enemies when you become too relaxed. Distrust is easy to find when experiencing a setback but vigilance wins the long game. Peace can achieved through the One who strengthens… just ask
