from a musical standpoint, Kind of Blue is a record you can listen to 1000 times. And Yellow Brick Road being a double album has a lot more variety on it. Ranking masterpieces is not fruitful. Also, Mr. Gaye considered his Trouble Man soundtrack to his greatest achievement; probably because he had never worked in long form before. Loved this album since I was a child. I know every word and sound of the instruments. It’s a masterpiece from beginning to end. Marvin was so talented but he said God wrote this album. He was just like a vessel. It’s on several of my playlists is heavy rotation. It’s best to download it and just let it flow. It’s simply beautiful. ☮️❤️
I have never associated Marvin Gaye with a piano so when they played only that part of What's Going On, I thought in my mind of Marvin possibly sitting down in front of perhaps Berry Gordy and first playing the piano solo and it brought tears to my eyes! Then Quest Love stating that it made it sound in his opinion even a different song! Simply amazing! Wow 🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎶🎵💜😘💙
