Hello Herman, how do you recommend updating a Cluster with 9 members?
Is the best practice maximum 5 nodes and the other four nodes manually, or do you restart the process for those 4 nodes?

I'm not aware of a maximum number of nodes for the Cluster Update/Upgrade or a recommendation to upgrade some manually. Unsure where you got that recommendation? Best to work with Aruba Support to validate your update plan if you are in doubt.

Thanks for the video, this is very much informative.
I have a small query regarding Cluster update. I read it in a Aruba community tread ,that all the CPPM server needs to be on the same version (Both Major and Minor). Considering this , wont the cluster break If we don't include all the sub in the update

You should make sure that all nodes are on the same version again as soon as possible.

Great Video Series. I have a Question: What if Subscription is expired? Can I still donwload the new SW version through the appliance?

No, you will need to have an valid and active subscription to be eligible for upgrades. Even if it would work, you are legally not allowed to.

That is quite easy, in the dashboard screen you can see the list of appliances. If you see multiple appliances there, it is a cluster. If you can't find the dashboard, under Administration, Server Manager, you can see the same list (and do configuration). If you have multiple appliances to choose from, it is a cluster.

I would recommend to CUT the time it takes to up date the subscribers or include more theory in the mean while

Good point, I should have cut out the waiting time, and don't really know why I uploaded the full version. Will try to edit the video and upload a new shorter version of it. Thanks for letting me know.
