A little more background info on this: deepin is also the base for UOS, which is set to become the official operating system for the Chinese administration in an attempt to move away from Windows. It's trying to be as accessible as possible, but this also means to include some proprietary stuff. What I especially like with deepin is that everything works "out of the box", I never need to tamper around to get anything running.

@@yunanux-xh6zs idk ab this guy but using something like chatgpt to solve problems on linux is pretty good. since most the issues are like busywork that take up a lot of time but amount to nothing. for anything complicated which the wiki doesnt cover or isnt everywhere online it sucks tho on arch btw

I like their UI, looks like a prettier KDE ootb, I wonder if it's as performant.
I didn't see any performance issues on the VM. on real hardware it would be fine too
