His entire job is to protect the residents of the complex from breakins, theft, harrassment, assault, among other things. Yet here he is harrassing them himself.
I was a security guard for a gated community. My responsibility was to monitor the access at the gate. I was to call the resident and get permission to open that gate, or not. My business was that gate and the gate only. No patrolling except by a supervisor and all he ever did was drive once around the grounds once then leave. I wasn't allowed to talk to, much less give anybody any orders in there. The resident was my boss.
That is a common misconception. While that is the policy and procedure of some companies it doesn't apply to all. (I am not defending the actions of this security) Security generally has the same power to enforce as any other private citizen or property owner.

It's an easy fix. Just get the tenants he's harassed to sign a petition asking for him to be removed. You present it the property management and the security company. You also call the same entities and make verbal complaints, and mention you are considering legal action if you are bothered by him again. I guarantee he will be removed from that living complex and maybe from his job if he has had prior complaints. Real police don't care about lawsuits because it doesn't effect them financially. Private businesses are a whole different thing!

@@MDbandit10Chatting with guests is a pretty good reason to use a common area. It is not loitering, as loitering is staying in an area with no purpose. It's literally a law that was written to get homeless people thrown in jail for being homeless
@@MDbandit10 incorrect. HOA/leases rules etc.... have to comply with laws. The lease could say we get your first born but guess what that is not ever gonna happen. The lease could say NO black guests and guess what also breaking the law. Next is loitering which you do not seem to realize what that means. there are 2 basic things to be considered loitering. 1) Staying in 1 location without purpose. if you have a reason to be there like going outside to smoke then you have purpose. 2) You must be disrupting others so that they are not able to enter or exit the area and/or go about their business. Example standing in front of a store smoking (you are good on the purpose) BUT blocking the door way so that no one can get in. (you fail the disruption side) nobody was loitering in this video. in fact later in the video people came down the steps and the 2 woman and the cop moved aside to let them pass. The one woman even said people are coming we need to move aside. IF they did not move and just hung out there blocking the steps that would be loitering even if they had purpose. If it was not this way then people just hanging out in a public park would be loitering which of course is nonsense.
@@LucasJackson_37 lol exactly. I am surprised no one said to that guy "if we are not allowed to be here then it is not a common area. it is a restricted area"
Wonder how he feels now, that the world has seen his actions. he has no authority to arrest or even detain anyone, his job is to observe and report, nothing more.
I worked at a local Hospital as a Security guard for over 25 years. When we had other Security people that acted like this. We made sure they didn't last long. A Security guard has no policing rights and can only observe not arrest or interfere with others. He can ask you to do something but has no right to make anyone do anything.
Depends on what state. I was hospital security in Oklahoma. You can tell someone to kick rocks but when they refuse you can absolutely detain them in handcuffs and wait for the police to arrive to arrest. This guy in the video however is too much. He could’ve easily explained why he is there, the properties policy, and asked them to abide by it. Instead it seemed like he immediately started on the offensive.
@@tylervanmarter7303 your right, you can make a citizens arrest, If you're backed by the police department. Where I worked my chief was also the chief of police. I've seen a few that let it go to their heads and paid the price. He seems to be on the right track for a big fail. Sometimes it just takes a while longer.
The PD honestly didn’t back us much. They hated responding to the hospitals. But you don’t need to be backed by the PD. You need to be backed by state law.
@@tylervanmarter7303 State law backing is what I was trying to say. I was considered to be a security guard until finishing my training. Then I had a choice to stay where I was or go fully police. I retired from there with full honors after 33 years. I never had to pull my gun on anyone. It's all in how you treat people. I must have done something right because I am still getting offers to be a training instructor. But I have had my fill of it.
Omg their lease, I am sure, grants them rights to use and enjoy the common areas! He was the one yelling. They were calm (at first anyway, until he riled them up), and using the common areas as they were intended to be used.
I rolled on the floor laughing my ass off!!! We used to call this the "Little Big Man" syndrome. I worked security for 7 years at one dual tower condominium complex. My duties were specific and clear. I was to makes walking rounds every hour, to keep an eye on the property, monitor the fire alarm, generator rooms, elevators, stairwells, indoor and outdoor pools. Enforce specific rules like no bbqs on balconies, no fireworks shot from balconies, after 10 p.m. pools closed and secured, and loud and boisterous parties quieted, and watch over the parking area and vehicles. There would be people who would walk off the beach to use the outdoor pools, and they were removed from the property, without fuss or having to threaten them. Common areas were open to the guests and owners, as long as they were respectful after hours. This clown here! "You're going to jail!" reminded me a bit of Cartman from Southpark: "You will respect my authoritie!"🤣🤣
I knew a guy just like this guy. He wanted to be a cop so bad it hurt but for some reason he couldn't make it as a cop. He would give every cop he saw a thumbs up and joined some sort of cop/citizen patrol whatever it was and used to walk around with his walkie talkie and a massive key ring with at least 50 keys on it jingling obnoxiously. Oh and he wore boots with big loud heels that echoed with every step he took. What the hell, I'll continue. Then he got married by some miracle and the wife quickly divorced him because he was spending money on idiot things like Dark Wing Duck comic books and Star Trek stuff. She said, I need to be married to a man, not a child. No, I'm not making this up.
No if he's a security guard. He's already tried and he does not meet the criteria to be a police officer for some reason. He's that old and it's not a cop. He can't be a cop for some reason.

“ I’m giving you a lawful order to get back into your apartment.” ROFL!
Security's job is to observe and report, that's it.
That is a common misconception. While that is the policy and procedure of some companies it doesn't apply to all. (I am not defending the actions of this security) Security generally has the same power to enforce as any other private citizen or property owner.
Oh god. He even does the vest grab technique.
But he has no vest! 😂😂😂
Im pretty sure people do that even with no vest to allow their chest to breathe, I tend to do that sometimes when wearing a tight polo when it gets too hot.
@@IndianTrollfaceyeah but let’s be honest, that’s definitely not what he’s doing lol He wants to be a cop so bad he’s imitating every little movement and pose
Got no balls to scratch
@@IndianTrollfaceYou don’t breath through your mouth?
He thinks he is a prison guard sending inmates back to their cell.
I worked in a Federal Prison and we didn’t even talk to the inmates the way this dipstick was talking to the residents.
He is without a doubt police material.
This has to be the dumbest person I’ve seen yet. He is trying to do what cops can’t even do. No wonder he isn’t a cop, I don’t think they are THAT dumb.👍👍👍👍
He's perfect for the cop's! In no time he will go to the top! They will love him!.
Good thing this man is a joke because if he wasn't, he'd probably be the worst cop In whatever city he works in.😊
Right enough, he is dumb as a bag or rocks, but cops on reality TV shows taught him to behave like this and the perception that cops stand outside the law allowed him to think he could do this.
If you can't figure out the difference between an order and a request... you shouldn't be anywhere near anything to do with security or police or even dealing with people at all.
I like how he holds on to his shirt like a real cop holds his vest 😂
I was looking for this comment lol
When he's a bigger boy he'll be issued with a real vest 😂
"I'm being thuper theriouth, you guyth! You need to go inthide!"

“The offender unit”. He graduated from the jeremy dewitte school of state agent/security 😮😮😮
Now he probably still lives with his momma. He went home crying to his mommy that nobody took him seriously and obey his lawful commands. 😂

I think I saw this a few months ago but this guy has to win Hall Monitor of the year, hands down.
This dude is going to be the number 1 recruit for police agencies all across the country. His phone will be ringing off the hook with job offers after this, he is everything and more that the thin blue line stands for and looks for.

That is really quite funny, I bet his attitude is a result of being stuff in a whole bunch of lockers when he was a child at school.
The way he's grabbing his shirt as if he's got a vest on says everything
I always say the only thing worse than a cop that doesn't know the law, is a security guard that thinks they are a cop.
Two days in a row. James, you are spoiling me.

The way he holds hands to grip his shirt like a tactical vest is too funny.😢
He looks so cute speaking into his Fisher Price walkie talkie lol
😂
Does Fisher Price sell a full swat outfit? He needs it for his safety.
I got the flintstones phone!
“Yabba Dabba Do, I love talking to you!”
Yeah what is that thing?? Like a flashlight radio survival light combo??
The tenants are the problem.
They allowed him to do that without bleeding.. he'll do it again and it's their fault.
Man before I had children & had to think about my actions a lot more I would have screwed with this guy so much he would've quit or we would've thrown down
I know what you are getting at but it is not the job of the tenants to solve it. They can put in complaints but they should not risk their living space to be combative.
lol
I kept thinking
He has a very punchable face
@@ClarityDetermination
He's in their living space and self defense is a personal responsibility.
He's going after woman and children.
This whole situation is strange. Why are police even involved? Citizens have a right to move freely about the areas they live and pay rent for!
yeah, but not loiter. this is not a private home. they LEASE to an apt complex, so the apt complex ssets the rules, not them
@@MDbandit10Chatting with guests is a pretty good reason to use a common area.
(you fail the disruption side)
nobody was loitering in this video. in fact later in the video people came down the steps and the 2 woman and the cop moved aside to let them pass. The one woman even said people are coming we need to move aside. IF they did not move and just hung out there blocking the steps that would be loitering even if they had purpose.
If it was not this way then people just hanging out in a public park would be loitering which of course is nonsense.
I have no idea why it's called a "common erea" 😂😂😂
@@LucasJackson_37 lol exactly. I am surprised no one said to that guy "if we are not allowed to be here then it is not a common area. it is a restricted area"

He should be barred from society. What a clown.

Most of the hospitals in the city used retired and part time officers. But you can really get yourself into some bad shit if you get all gungho. I've seen a few that let it go to their heads and paid the price. He seems to be on the right track for a big fail. Sometimes it just takes a while longer.
Observe and report.

My man firing off duties like a boss 🤣 respect bro. Fuckin cartman! That's exactly what I thought, put a lil red coat on him!!! 🤣🤣🤣
He is a fascist thug in waiting. What Stalin referred to as a "Useful Idiot".
What an absolute champion this guy is.
A real credit to any force who would employ him
I knew a guy just like this guy.
HILARIOUS the whole time that security guard is in a stance like he's wearing a vest
The way he’s acting, his mannerisms with his hands and threats. He’s a toddler.
