After watching this video, I already told my family anymore playground equipment is coming from y'all. From the app, to the QR code to this insanely user-friendly and well-made video, I'm beyond impressed with this company's thoughtfulness and professionalism. From a mama that has three toddlers whose Daddy passed away, you have given me the ability and confidence to do what I didn't think I could do for them. You guys rock! Thank you!
Same here. The very last section of connecting poles is what tripped me up, so I scanned the QR code and watched the last part of the video. Really helpful!
Thanks so much. The only thing I would add is which nuts and bolts to use in every situation. I bought mine used without any instructions. I downloaded the instructions but they were confusing at best but your video made the process fairly painless. I bought a 3 inch 1/2 inch socket that made the longer bolts a breeze.
It's so much better than the paper instructions. My instructions were in black and white and zoomed in. Couldn't tell which way the ends were angled and ended up building it upside down.
So glad I found this video! I seen all the parts and almost had a panic attack lol. I’m about to try to put it together while my kids are gone so they’ll come home to this surprise :) I’ll be trying it by myself so I’m nervous about that. I think I’ll be alright though. I have wood and stones I can use to help prop things up for me when needed. Wish me luck lol.
8:29 I freakin' love how both of y'all are struggling not to laugh in the later steps! I can picture exactly what was happening between takes. "OK, no really, we need to keep a straight face this time. NO LAUGHING! STOP SMILING! I'm not smiling, YOU'RE smiling!"
Thank you for this video, i found the instructions very confusing. Instructions also say it comes with 84 thin washers but only comes with 16 for the last handle parts. Bought one used. Do you know where i can aquire a few more of the standard washers? I lost 3 in transition. Thanks
Glad it helped! Replacement parts are available and can be ordered through our customer service department. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (MT).
It would be helpful if you'd let people know at the beginning of the instruction manual and your video that a 1/2" deep socket (with or without an electric drill & adapter) is necessary to tighten many of the 42 sunken Nylock nuts that come with the dome.
Thank you!! I came to look for this specific info! I got so frustrated just now with my normal socket and wondering why it didn’t seem to want to fit! I’m not a mechanic, to be honest I didn’t even realize until just today that there are different depths of sockets!
@@bethsarpong8980 Welcome. Glad to help. I looked at their reply. They do show a picture of a deep socket at 1.13, but they don't specify in the oral presentation that you'll need a deep socket to assemble the dome, not a regular socket.
@@barisay7244 1/2” is the size of the nuts and heads of the bolts that hold the dome together. My regular 1/2” socket is about 1 inch in height. My deep 1/2” socket is almost 2 inches in height. The problem with the regular socket is that when you tighten a nut onto a bolt, the bolt will bottom out on the socket and prevent you from completely tightening the nut. If you go to a hardware or auto parts store, I’m sure you’ll find both regular and deep sockets and can see the difference between the two, or just Google “deep socket” for pictures and a better explanation of what they are. BTW, you don’t need both a regular and a deep 1/2” socket. A deep socket works for all the nuts and is the only socket you need for the nuts. I used a socket wrench with a regular socket on the heads of the numerous bolts.
We disassembled during a move so lost the original labeling. What is the difference between the CPD, CPC, CPE, and CPF tubes? Is there a way to identify each?
CPF and CPC are the red tubes with CPF being the thicker bar (1 1/4” x 33 7/8”). This is the one for standing. CPE and CPD are the blue tubes with CPE being the thicker bar (1 1/4” x 38.128”)

That's why i was asking for proper torque specifications. How many ft.lbs would be not too tight but also not too loose.... That might be a question for the engineers who designed it. Thanx
This video is absolute garbage instruction, wait until the end of the step to tell you to switch from short to long bolts, bought this thing used and tried to go step by step with the video and had to take out bolts a few times, not hard to say what bolts to grab at the beginning of the step
On the right side of the video it shows all the hardware needed for each step that you can refer to. This can also be found on the top of the instruction manual as well. If you're not certain if the hardware is correct you can match it up to the top of that page and the image on the manual will be the same size as the actual hardware.

Just moved house, so making use of the video after a couple of years, glad it's still around
This video helped me assemble a 10ft climbing dome my mother purchased for my kids 2 years ago and we lost the instructions. Thanks for this.
I got about 80% there with the instructions, and then the diagrams started becoming confusing. Found this video. Boom, finished. Thank you so much!

What torque would you suggest for each bolt? Very jealous of that deep socket

Awesome video! Took me about 3 hours total, video was exactly what I needed!
Fyi it doesn't matter which order the poles go into the initial screws, and you definitely need a helper with some steps, like standing upright
Mine looks like a train wreck. Can you come over and build mine please.
How do i disassembled it im having trouble with the black holders coming off
How will this hold up in Canadian winters -30C? IE Rust on bars or handholds cracking in extreme cold temperatures?
Thank you thank you thank you .. best products. I have a lifetime swing and monkey bar set and this used climber. Lifetime brands never disappoint 🤗
Did you use rubber mulch under the dome?
Thanks buddy.!

Is it ok to put it on artificial grass? Would that damage the grass over time?

you can just contact them, they will send you an entire set gratis. Unfortunately they didn't send me new labels
What drill attachment are you using? The socket drill attachments I have aren't deep enough.
You can buy deeper sockets to help with this
How do I know which handholds go where? There are four different kinds! Is there a correct order to install them?
There’s no specific order for the handholds. They look different but they’re the same!
Not too tight ... Not too loose...
What is the proper torque for the bolts?
Thanx
You want them tight enough for everything to stay in place. Make sure not to over tighten because you can strip out the plastic or the bolt.

Yes. The assembly is the exact same just the color is different.
