Been suffering from depression for a while, and living off snacks instead of making actual food. Decided to make this today and I love it! Simple yet delicious. Thank you
Sending love! You're not alone. So glad to hear you made this and enjoyed it. Cooking is the best thing to take your mind of stuff. My cooking videos are always here for you.
You are my favourite chef on UA-cam, 100%. Tasty and nutritious meals ✅️ Great instructions ✅️ Straight to the point ✅️ Even the production, clear video and sound ✅️ Another quality upload. Thanks.
It is arguably one of the most delicious chicken recipes I have stumbled upon and I have followed many of them since I mostly cook chicken when it comes to meat. Thank you for all your work, your recipes rarely, if ever, disappoint!
Finally got round to making this. Took me almost 45 minutes to chop/dice and measure everything out (skill issue) but holy hell this tastes good, and it’s still amazing when reheated too. Will be trying more of your recipes in future!
I made this last night and it was SO good! I made a few changes by grilling the chicken on the barbecue (because we already had one lit) and then chopped the garlic/ginger and briefly frying before adding everything else. Thank you!!
So happy to come across this channel. Exactly what I'm looking for: batch cooking for high protein meals sensitive to other macros, with no compromise attention on taste (jasmine rice, peanut oil...), and glass containers on top of all that. Unpretentious high production, to the point. Eager to see other videos.
These meal-preps are awesome. Holiday is almost over again so time for cooking will be more sparse again when going back to college for the year. Can't wait to try all of these out, love how easy they are and they look delicious as well!
Mate you keep cranking out amazing recipes. I made your Sweet chili chicken yesterday and it feels so good to have 5 ready to go super nutritious delicious meals ready to go at home. Frikkin awesome work man keep goin! I hope you will make more recipes with chaoxing cooking wine and mirin so i can use up those bottles ^^
I tried this and I have to say this is one of my favorite dishes that I made with the meal prep series! Definitely use chicken thigh as it tastes really good!
Holy smoking chicken balls!!!! My husband and I just discovered your channel yesterday! So of course we started with this dish! Totally blown away!!! Thank you thank you thank you from little old Richmond, Tasman New Zealand!
Just made this as my meal prep for next week, and though I measured all the ingredients and measurements exactly for 5 servings, I was only able to obtain 4 servings. Not sure what mistake I made, regardless the recipe was amazing and I look forward to enjoying these throughout the week! Maybe next time ill be more generous with my measurements to insure I get the 5 servings aha x
Yo jack, congrats on 1mil subs, your voice seems low in this video, might be a good idea to make the video volume lower so it doesn't drown out your voice next time. 😉
Amazing recipe! Just one thing, the thumbnail is suggesting that 5 portions = 55g of protein, while it's 1 portion = 55g of protein Hope you're doing well Jack thank you for the recipes!
Hey bro! Great videos, I think you’re easily the best person on UA-cam doing these prep videos. So easy to follow and delicious. Can you make more recipes with proteins other than chicken? As someone that makes a lot of your recipes, it’s a lot of chicken lol. Thanks man
This visual recipe is much better than the "In 60+" version; lol. You probably had great fun editing the speedy Gorgonzola version. With all that aside, this recipe looks outstanding and this girl is all over it. I will have to wait a couple of days before I can give it a try, but I am betting it will be worth the wait. Thanks so much for the demonstration.
I too made the sweet chili chicken recently. My family loved the flavors and we have added to my list of meals. Funny enough I have thighs in the refrig right now and sriracha in the pantry. I know what I am making tonight for supper.
Thank you so much for your meal prep videos. They taught me how to cook and I can't thank you enough for that. I used to get very worried when I couldn't find an ingredient, but your substitutes really make the dish more affordable for me to make. Your relaxed approach really rubs off in a sweet way, making cooking feel so much more approachable. Your videos are edited and shot in such a way so that I know what I need to see to make sure I'm on the right track. These videos fed me throughout my last year of high school and now, I'm making this dish for my first week of college!
Ok, I was just gonna be boring and have a ribeye for dinner just cooking for me tonight, think I’ll knock this up for two and freeze one. Got everything in 👍❤️
Amazing recipe as always, I can't wait to try it! Out of interest, what cookware (pots, pans, etc.) are you using, specifically the stainless steel set? I'd love to get a similar set myself.
So true.....all your recipes are not just easy but they are super delicious... I can just imagine what awesome flavour that sauce has .... keep rocking Chef Jack..... And iam trying to push those numbers, they seem to be going so slow....
It would be nice to have simpler / cheaper substitutes for ingredients listed, especially sauce. Here ketchup was mentioned, but many similar quick recipes use something like some sort of exotic wine or whatever. Well maybe it is NOT so exotic, but my local grocery store does not have anything even close to it - that's why I'm very interested in alternatives. Thanks for understanding, and keep up the great job!..
I severely underestimated how spicy sriracha sauce is because I usually used it as a dipping sauce and never found it too spicy. But THIS, holy moly IT IS SPICY!! I might do 1/8 cup of sriracha and the rest with tomato ketchup next time. For those who made the same mistake as I did, to get rid of the hot sauce and make the chicken less spicy, I put in milk and hot water, then stir it up for a few seconds, get rid of the liquid, then do the same again. No need to do this over the heat.
Thank you for this. I really need to start meal prepping because I never reach my protein targets. Do you have any high protein breakfast ideas that don’t involve egg?
This recipe is super delicious! However, I wanted to ask about the macros for the jasmine rice. I'm wondering if the grams/serving should be 60g total ( 300g called for in the recipe divided by 5 servings) instead of the 180g /serving that is listed in the infographic in the video? I might not be interpreting this correctly...
AMAZING!!! these meal preps are game changers. dig the single stove setup......relieved you didnt make us buy anything (read: air fryer)/we're trying to be minimalists/buy nothing else. omg - 5K to go !!! youll be at 1mill today or tmrw!!! woot woot gotta have a celebration - cook with a live band? haha congrats mate cheers
Thank you. They are out of stock and said they won’t have anymore in for another 6 months 😢 Anyways, tried the recipe and it’s outstanding. I love super flavorful stuff and this hit the mark perfectly. Only thing is for some reason I didn’t end up with enough rice. Used you exact measurements and used an accurate scale.
Is there a way to store or cool your food? By the 5th day sometimes the food smells a bit off? I usually let my food cook overnight then put in the fridge
Im fairly new to meal prep so my question might sound dumb. I got a lot of chicken breast in the freezer. can this be a substitute for the chicken thighs?
I'm not sure where you read that at, but this is from the website of a bee farm: "First, let's assuage the most serious concern - no, heating honey will not turn it toxic and kill you. Heating up raw honey will change the makeup of the honey, and potentially weaken or destroy enzymes, vitamins, minerals, etc (more on this in a second) but it will not give you a horrible disease or poison you."

Made this as my first ever meal prep. Tastes amazing and is fairly simple to make. Thanks mate! 😁👍

I made this last night and it was SO good! I made a few changes by grilling the chicken on the barbecue (because we already had one lit) and then chopped the garlic/ginger and briefly frying before adding everything else. Thank you!!
Frying the garlic and ginger sounds like prior to adding all the other ingredients sounds like a great idea.

Thankyou for explaining why the chicken needs to be cooked in 2 batches! I had no idea why some recipes required that
I just made this recipe but I just swapped the protein for the equivalent amount of tofu and maple syrup for honey and it is bomb! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it
Made this and bring it to work for several days. Amazing recipe and easy to follow 🔥
Great to hear! Glad you liked it

Just tried this for my first meal prep, recommended by a friend, tastes so good !!, Thank you !.
I tried this and I have to say this is one of my favorite dishes that I made with the meal prep series! Definitely use chicken thigh as it tastes really good!
Great video. A lot of other cooking videos get too fancy and I can't keep up. This looks like something I will be able to handle.
No matter the difficulty of the recipe I’ll always make it as simple as possible 🙏
Holy smoking chicken balls!!!!

just 6k subs from 1 million subs Jack - WELL DONE - your videos are ace - greetings from England
Would be great, if my grocery store had any sriracha in stock!
Substitute with tomato ketchup

See if you can find Tabasco siracha taste exactly the same
Franks buffalo sauce
Wonderful, I have all the ingredients this time. Definitely will do this now ❤ thanks Jack, another great video!
Delicious! So quick and easy, yet extremely tasty. A real hit with the family. Thanks Jack another winner recipe 🎉
Yo jack, congrats on 1mil subs, your voice seems low in this video, might be a good idea to make the video volume lower so it doesn't drown out your voice next time. 😉
Great recipe, pretty healthy and a lot of protein. Some VERY handsome tupperware there as well.

Hope you're doing well Jack thank you for the recipes!
Thank you 🙏 it also says each next to it 😉
So close to 1 mill! Congrats and well deserved!!
Slowly becoming my favorite channel xD Excited to start using some of these when my training starts again!
Just made this. Lovely!
I like the gas stove for presentation 👍🏽 keep up the good content, much appreciated!
Thank you Brother, absolutely love this recipe. Only problem I have is hiding the ‘prep’ from my 12 year old son who wolfs it down. Love your work!
This looks fantastic mate! 👏

I love your videos so much man, I think I’ve legit made nearly every meal of your meal prep series 🔥🔥🔥

Just got done making this prep for the next 5 days. I feel like this is an updated version of one you had years ago that I bookmarked.
Turned out incredible, thank you chef Jack!
Wonderful recipe Chef Jack. I can't wait to try it out.
I too made the sweet chili chicken recently. My family loved the flavors and we have added to my list of meals. Funny enough I have thighs in the refrig right now and sriracha in the pantry. I know what I am making tonight for supper.
Looks great! What about marianding the chicken for a few hours before cooking?
Thank you for these meal prep videos friend. Even a complete amateur like me can follow through without much trouble!

I came on youtube to decide what to make for dinner today and saw you JUST uploaded this! Gonna give it a try 😁
Awesome thank you! One question: I thought even cooked chicken can be stored for max. 4 days in the fridge? How do you store this?
bro you make it so easy and delicious

Wonderful! Thank you!! Can you tell us what type of Tupperware those are?
I constantly make the honey chicken meal prep recipe you shared. I guess I can do the exact same but change to this sauce
Hi mate, this looks tops. Many thanks for sharing Jack. Hope your well. Have a great week.😮Very beautiful dish
Looks fantastic. Going to put this in my meal prep rotation.
Hi chef Jack, can I use normal white vinegar instead of apple cider? If not, what else can I use? Thank you 😊
Thanks for the video man. Just discovered you! Great macros!
Love the gas countertop element you are using to cook this Sriracha recipe. I wish the brand for that was listed here. Does anyone know? Thanks…
Looking forward to this one, thank you.

Very helpful if I’m rushing for time 😊
Solid recipe as always chef. Must be unofficial Sriracha sauce week. I literally have a "Sriracha Orange Chicken" going live tomorrow 🤣.
I severely underestimated how spicy sriracha sauce is because I usually used it as a dipping sauce and never found it too spicy. But THIS, holy moly IT IS SPICY!! I might do 1/8 cup of sriracha and the rest with tomato ketchup next time.

Made this last night and let me tell you… I’m gonna have to make this once a week at least 😮💨😮💨🤤🤤😍
Excellent! Glad you enjoyed it
just made this. very nice!
This looks good
Great recipe (again)
Thanks a lot 😊
RECIPE BOX!!!!! Looks so good🥰🥰
Another masterpiece! Thanks a bunch, Chef!!!!!!!!
A new change to the previous recipe!
Yummy, going to make this for next week
You can put them in the freezer in those containers?
Yep. These containers are freezer, microwave and oven safe
Thank you for this. I really need to start meal prepping because I never reach my protein targets. Do you have any high protein breakfast ideas that don’t involve egg?
This man is gonna save me during uni!
Rice triples in size when cooked which is why the serving sizes are 180g.
Great recipe love you

Yep and you can use them to stay under your deficit
@@ChefJackOvensthank you!

Always freeze after 3 days. The storage instructions are in the video at the end
Im fairly new to meal prep so my question might sound dumb. I got a lot of chicken breast in the freezer. can this be a substitute for the chicken thighs?
I have all the ingredients except the cider .. can I skip it or sub it ?
You can leave it out.
What size are the containers ?? 750 or 1.3 ?? thanks
These are 750ml
thanks Jack - brand new to the channel - excellent recipes AND delivery
Welcome and thank you! Glad you’re enjoying it
I like it moroccan in Australia
what is the reference of the gas hob please ? :))
Can i substitute the peanut oil with olive oil instead ?
I have the same question 😭
Looks awsome!!! Is this also good when you want to lose weight?
Think I've got a different sriracha than you, currently eating it and sweating profusely. Keep it up!
Sriracha can be spicy but it shouldn’t be too hot
Cooked rice max. 1-2d in fridge or do you put it in the freezer?
2-3 days in the fridge or freeze
How much ml are these containers?
750ml
Used chicken breast and the sauce was really good!
Hey chef jack i really hipe you reply to me cause im curious if i can use a non stick pan or not, or should i use the metal one youre using??
You can totally use a non-stick pan, just make sure to use silicone or wooden tools and not metal.
Hi chef, isnt siracha sauce unhealthy?
Hi...Wanted to know if I can make this without using corn flour. I want to avoid it. Instead I can add some chicken stock?
You use the flour to thicken the sauce. If you add more liquid without adding the flour it will be too runny
Thanks for the reply, mate! I think I'll try it with wheat flour once. @@ChefJackOvens
What model is your single gas hob?
How should I reheat this?
Why not cornstarch?
Amazing
Great recipe. But I've a question, doesn't honey become toxic when exposed at higher temperatures?
Not with this small amount
I'm not sure where you read that at, but this is from the website of a bee farm:
"First, let's assuage the most serious concern - no, heating honey will not turn it toxic and kill you. Heating up raw honey will change the makeup of the honey, and potentially weaken or destroy enzymes, vitamins, minerals, etc (more on this in a second) but it will not give you a horrible disease or poison you."
