Most people today have heard the historical theory of an advanced progenitor civilization existing prior to the Great Flood. This civilization is usually called Atlantis, although this is not the original name - it was coined by Plato.
However, there was another advanced civilization, existing between Atlantis and modern history. Today it is known as Hyperborea, although this name is also Ancient Greek and not original.
Norse literature - Poetic and Prose Eddas - tells of a great war between two races of gods - the Æsir from Asgard and the Vanir from Vanaheim.
Vedic literature - RigVeda, SamaVeda and Mahabharata - tells of a great battle between the Asuras and the Devas - also two races of deities.
Mesopotamian mythology tells of the god Ashur or Assur, while the highest deity of Zoroastrianism is called Ahura Mazda.
As most myths, these also represent vague memories of distant events - the great struggle between the survivors of Atlantis (aka Assir or Ashur) and the newcomers Hyperboreans (aka Vanir or Aryans).
This struggle ended with the victory of the Hyperboreans, who then built their advanced civilization.
However, their story is sad. Mahabharata is a chronicle of global war between the Solar and Lunar Empires. These two factions of the Vanir destroyed each other with the use of advanced weapons (described as "light and heat" projectiles deployed from "flying chariots") throwing the planet into stone age (and the beginning of modern history). The North of Russia contains cone-shaped lakes and molten rocks still contaminated by ancient radiation from these battles...
Our song VANAHEIM (as well as the entire EP 'Warrior Race') is about Hyperborea and its great, but tragic history.

I have to agree with you , i think, how you say you are most metal country :) . We Czechs also have good bands. Try Dymytry. It's a different style than Imperial Age, but they're really good. They sing a Czech, perhaps you do not mind :)

P.S.S. I'm presently listening to Dymytry's 2019 album "Revolter" & enjoy it a lot, although it would be even more enjoyable if I also understood the lyrics as I'm also a lyrics person.
