This is fantastic. I ordered mine before I was halfway through the video. Only other option I could find was an $800 spool on ebay that accepted 930 cv's. Thanks guy.
Yahoo! I’m very happy you finally are selling the parts. The original video was great but finding someone to cut out the parts was holding me back. I’m buying your kit.
Good day! Quick question…. 4:10 What sprocket can I use to bolt up to your bolt pattern? Most of the sprockets I’ve seen are a 6 hole design and a couple of inches wider in diameter to what you have. Are the sprockets y’all use from utv/atv? I appreciate your time.
This is amazing and exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately your website states you do not ship to South Africa. Do you perhaps plan on Shipping to South Africa in the near future?
There isn't any space on the spool since the sprocket and brake rotor occupy both flanges. Also this type of reverse is notorious for burning out motors.
@@jdsgarage701 that's fair. I wish somebody would make a decent, reliable and not to costly reverse box. This spool idea is really helpful. Thanks for putting it together.
I got mine I ordered the 1 1/4 bearings you recommended and I got a 1 1/4 key shaft however it’s too tight to in almost as if it’s gotta be pressed it what am I doing wrong ?

Are the cut plans available at all? I’m in the UK so don’t know if you ship here but even if you do, it’s usually very expensive.
Kit ordered. I've been looking for a good spool build plan, and now I've found it. Thank you.
The Spool is Awesome, I saw your previous video and made one for the Cross Kart I am Building. It is an Awesome Spool and works perfectly.

Nice set up, thanks for the work you guys put into it for all of us building these toys.

Thanks for the support.
Thanks for the vid, definitely going to come back to this when we eventually build a cross kart!
I stumbled upon this getting desperate and boom! This is literally the missing link in DIY rear suspension for probably many projects.
Just ordered one! Thank you so much! Major hurdle overcome.
Thanks for the support.
Same spool build here! Thank you for torque info!! You guys rock! 💪🏾
So great you are offering this. Great jop!
Nice kit and design of the spool. 👍
Thank you for making this avaliable !
That’s amazing and affordable! I’ll Definitely order one after Christmas

Send the channel and email (in video description) we can help you out.
Simple yet effective 👍🏻
This is fantastic. Any thought to adding a small ring gear for a starter to add reverse?

Very nice guys.
I'll be purchasing this very soon

I purchased one of your spool kits what bolt pattern do you use for the sprocket and rotor?
You guys are awesome
can i see a pic of this on the actual cart?
When will the kit be back in stock?
Dumb question for you.. is there any reason I can’t use a shaft with a full length keyway? I’ll only have about 20hp.
@JD’sGarage. I received my spool but no instructions or build list. Did I miss something?
You should have been emailed the documents. Send an email to the channel (in video description) so we can send them over to you.
@@jdsgarage701 I sent an email directly from the order confirmation if that works… I appreciate the help!
This is amazing! Will there eventually be more in stock?
there on sale i’m placing my order next week hopefully there still are by then
Thanks again
What sprocket does it use
When are you gonna be back in stock??
What make and model is the sprocket, rotor, and caliper from? Bolt patters should vary.
All of the info can be found in the plan package here. jdsgarage.bigcartel.com/product/cross-kart-spool-kit
Hey man I just went to your online store . But the spool is out of stock . Any idea when it will be back in stock? Thank you
i need one of this sooo bad haha lmk or reply back when there in stock
Are you still selling these? It looks like they are sold out on your website.
More will be avalible as soon as we can secure parts for them.
I’m going to order this
What year Miata are the axles coming off of
1993
A somewhat unrelated question, will the z axis be available in plan form?
What about the spool as well?
Z-axis will be a free add on if you already have the plasma cutter plans. The spool is not currently available in plan form.
Would it be possible to buy just the brake side setup? I have the old files and am having issues finding a rotor to fit
The geometry has been changed, so unfortunately the old files and the new files are not compatible with eachother.
@@jdsgarage701 what geometry? Still a 1 1/4 shaft? 1 1/4 weld on hub? Its literally 1 plate you added ears for the brake to mount to...
Is this coming back online for sale soon?
It will be back next week.
