    I keep my car key separate from my other keys. I don't trust the weight of the other keys hanging on the ignition switch.

      That's a good point. It's shown that excessive weight can damage the internals.

    For your trigger they make a red rubber type plug that fits in behind the trigger so it can't be squeezed by mistake but it is easily popped out with your finger if you should need it.... A cheap fix!!

    Jeff, I carry a Beretta 96a1 in an aliengear 'cloak tuck 3.0' and it is massively comfortable for carrying the larger/heavier gun and adjusts to a few different cants and ride heights. keep on keepin' on!

    With the 92 if you draw it or are reholstering it, place your thumb on the hammer. That way if anything is getting caught in the trigger, you can actually feel that hammer start to go back. This is something that many LE guys who carry the 92 were taught especially when it came to reholstering and preventing NDs.

    Jeff, I use an Outdoor Edge sheath for my Juice and have to say that it's the best sheath I've ever used. I love their belt clip. They and Nite Ize are the only company that use that style of belt clip and it's far far superior to any other kind. U do not like having to thread a belt through a loop, and the Outdoor Edge and Nite Ize pop on and off easily and stay on securely. Try their 4" or shorter sheathes.

    As far as carrying the glock and worrying about things touching the trigger, making sure all clothing material is pulled out of the way when re-holstering should eliminate any fears. Another option is to install the NY1 trigger return spring. It makes the trigger pull weight about a pound heavier, but still gives a usable trigger.

    I started to carry a spyderco bug. Mostly it's just to play with, because I have a bad habit of playing with something when I am bored or stressed out. Usually it's either a knife I have or something I find.

    I've been using the T01 with the little split and a small black sbiner and a little skull bead threaded on the one side with the split ring. I carry it on another sbiner on my belt loop which is attatched to a karambit with a length of cord.

    6:00 I carry a pocket kife in my "pajama" when i'm at home, i buy a Sanrenmu M07 as a home EDC knife and i use it a lot.
    I prefer to keep my other knives (Spyderco Chaparral and Delica4) fresh and sharp to carry them when i'm outside.

    I'm glad you mentioned the gun trigger. me dad shot himself a few years ago just by adjusting his holster and he's the safest gun owner I know. there are definitely plenty of possibilities for that trigger to be pulled by something other than the finger!

    P.S. If you Like Scandi Grind Folders & Fixed Blade Knives I've just got a "TBS Boar EDC Knife" that's made in the UK with "Turkish Walnut Scales" with a "Scandi Grind" & It has a "Beautiful Brown Leather Sheath" with a Choice of Matching "Firesteel" if you want, It's Unreal such a Beautiful Knife. There are other Knife Scales as well not just a big Choice of Woods but All Kinds of Options including polymer etc. The other thing is they are really reasonably priced as well. I think there's only one shop that sells TBS Knives in the World tho and it's called The Bush Craft Store in the UK and it's an Awesome Shop. See what you think Jeff they are Beautiful Knives & I hope this helps you with your Collection. Keep up the great work. Nick.

    Accidental Discharge is if the gun malfunctions which results in a discharge (sear slips, etc.) Negligent Discharge is if you contribute to the discharge (holster incorrectly, pull the trigger.)

    hahahaha, love your commentary on weight. I carry 1911s and a P220 at times and with a great belt and holster it isn't even noticeable. I've got a Mitch Rosin OWB holster for the P220 and a Galco V-Hawk IWB for the 1911s. Gallo gun belt and a SOE, totally the secret to CCW.
    Like the neck knife and I'm going to have to check out your Zippo tricks.

    Jeff you should look into Aliengear Holsters. They're fantastic. I'm using the inside waistband cloak 3 for my walther ppq m2 9mm and its so so so good. It has cant options both ways, up and down adjustment, draw force adjustments. All kinds of things and is super comfortable and extremely affordable. It's the only holster i will use. I haven't tried their OWB models but apparently their outside waist band holsters and their gun belts are superb as well. Later knife man.

    I'm guessing you won't see this but I'll say it anyways in hopes that you will. I carry a 17 with a round in the chamber and what I've found works for me is leaving the gun in the holster when I put it on. In fact the only time I ever take it out of the holster is when it goes in to the safe and I only take it off then half the time. I just found that after the first week of carry I was way too stressed about holstering the gun every time I put it on and took it off so I bought a better holster so that I could leave it in while I was putting it on. Have a good day.

    i got a juice after seeing how much you liked it. i do like it a lot. i attached a chinese copy tec p7 suspension clip to mine and i carry it whenever im not at work. skeletool at work for me.
    never noticed you have a glowfob on your keys. i finally broke down and bought the tritium insert and a 323. i like it a lot and am glad i have it now. pretty expensive for what it is though. i have the s3 also but mine hardly ever charges since i keep my keys inside my pockets. its really cool when it is charged though or i hit it with my flashlight real quick.
    i carry my 226 or a full sized 1911 from time to time and youre right. its not a problem! im a big dude too. good holster and belt go a long way. i prefer the flush mags though when i carry my 226 or cz75. i thought about getting some +2's for my glock 19 but i havent done it yet.
    love the edc dump videos

    I carry appendix and had the same worries holstering obviously. However the way i see it, in any instance there is no hurry to holster the firearm quickly, so I take my time and insure nothing is in the way. In unholstering, a piece of clothing isn't going to have anything to do with a trigger being pulled in my opinion because you're drawing towards clothing to the rear of the trigger. Just my 2 cents.

    awesome seeing that ur getting some holster time on ur M9. I use the Blackhawk leather inside the waist band holster to carry my 92FS and I love it.
    I just went back to carrying my Spyderco P'Kal after carrying my Cold Steel Rajah 3 so I could review it (still editing Rajah 3 review), does anyone else have more trouble waving the cold steel folders with the thumbplates in comparison to Spyderco waves? I find the Spyderco wave is much easier to use.

      How do you manage to pack a full size 92fs, gotta be cumbersome at some point?

    • @StudentOfWarCustoms
      @StudentOfWarCustoms 8 років тому

      +Mr.Medic I appendix carry and I just make sure that most of the gun rides on the crease of my leg. I'm tall and thin so this works pretty well for me, I also wear a shirt one size bigger than I normally wear. Doesn't really become cumbersome to me, the 92FS was my first gun and the only one I ever concealed so I just got used to it. I also wear a 1 3/4" belt with a good holster which helps with the weight. I'll b making a video on how I carry my Beretta next week. with a hoodie, jacket or coat it's even easier, but I carried it today in shorts and a tshirt just fine and I carry every single day.
      It's even easier if u carry at the 4 o clock but I don't like my gun that far behind me in public. If I'm doing hard manual labor that involves a lot of bending and I feel it's in the way (which isn't often that it feels in the way) then I'll put it back towards the 4 o clock to keep it out of the way but otherwise I just carry appendix. the shirt 1 size larger really helps to keep it concealed.

      Nutn calls it "threshold of carry". How much weight a person can comfortably carry is highly subjective and dependent on the individual. Clearly, Cutlerylover can carry a good bit of weight. I'm a mere 120-pounds, but I carry only a little less than he does. On the flip side, Hickok45, who is huge, only carries subcompact Glocks.

    I get what you mean about the weight thing. I'm a large framed person and I go to high school and my bag can differ from 5-15 pounds, but when it's on your back, you don't even notice the difference.

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  8 років тому

      yes a backpack is a good example since its even less noticable with extra weight, but in this case as long as you have a good stiff belt it doesnt matter too much, but I do try to keep the weight even so a bigger gun means more of my items on my left side...otherwise it can start to create back problems..

I find them to hard to use from just accuracy part alone (could just be me) I've actually always preferred the Glock or the Beretta which just so happens to be what you use haha for me it's because I just genuinely think there easier guns to handle and shoot and still be safe when compared to some "pocket watch .380" haha. I have one, it's very good for the price, but there's only three issues I've noticed, the wire cutters don't close completely, there's probably a quarter of a millimeter gap between the two "cutty" parts, the scissors often get stuck closed, and the knife blade dulls quite easy, but overall it's a great multi tool for the price.

    Don't you re-holster frequently when training? Also, I think kydex would be a good solution for a holster.

    What is the point of carrying with the safety off? In not very familiar with the beretta.

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  8 років тому

      so you have one less thign toi do when you need to shoot it, double action single action means your first trigger pull is hard and then the rest are easy, hard as in you need more pressure to fire it...many people agree because of that its safe enough...

    I personally carry any semi autos pistols with out one in the chamber. 99 percent of the time unless your a cop it is unnecessary. If your in that bad of a neighborhood your in trouble:):) easy to be safe and easy to rack slide if need be for most people. that's how I do it:) and I feel safe:)

      personal opinion I do agree 99.9% of guys who carry as civilians will never have to use their firearm anyway...but I just prefer to carry this way now

    while carrying zippo i presume you keep it fueled and dont only use it for tricks... so how do you deal with it getting empty every week due to the fuel vaporising?
    from hat i've learned you dont use the fuel by smoking every day and neither do i, so filling it for only using it maybe twice a week seems like a huge waste to me..
    never the less, keep doing videos, i absolutly love them, and have fun on your weightloss journey ;D
    greetings from germany

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  8 років тому

      a filled zippo can last me at least 2-3 weeks without using it...most of the time I do play with it so its moire like 2 weeks then its low again, but I dont carry it for months on end straight so its not a big deal...
