Hello from Moscow 😌🤝 I remember myself last year , I got to a similar place , it took three hours to get out of this swamp. Great video , it turned out labor fishing. Such days on fishing are remembered for a lifetime. Продолжай снимать , ты молодец ! 👊😌
I grew up trout fishing in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY (by the Canadian border) and miss it even though I live in FL now and fish all of the time. We caught brookies and browns up there. I left at eighteen for the military and have hunted/fished all over the world but not much trout fishing. My father lives in the San Luis valley and I usually come out hunting and sprinkle in a little trout fishing. Usually only for brookies, browns, and rainbows but last year when I was out there a friend was talking about these tiger trout and I got super excited. I am skipping hunting out there this fall but am already planning a trip in April of next year to try to get on some tigers. Super excited.!! Your videos are killing me though and it's going to be a long nine months. I might as well be pregnant. LOL!! Thanks for the videos!!
Hell yeah! I moved to Oregon from Utah love the videos, they use a lot of those single hooks on spinners here so you can throw wild salmon & steelhead back. Pretty cool. 🐟🙌🏻
What a awesome day of fishing. Would like to see you try those spinners , at another location , just to see if it was them or just one of those blessed days.
Nice tigers man! I'm gonna have to look into those spinners! I'm gonna be in your area this summer so hopefully we can go wet our lines again! Great video as always bro! 🤙
You're lucky you get to catch tigers that big. I live in Minnesota and I'm lucky if I catch any at all most of the time. Biggest I've caught is 10-11in. Keep up the content bud, stay safe!
@@bassntroutfishing I'm in southeastern mn actually. They naturally reproduce in some streams that have both brown trout and brook trout. I'm sure they have some up north, they do more brook trout stocking up there. They stock more rainbows and browns in my area.
Awesome video as always man! Hey what’s the best recipe you’ve tried on trout so far? I know ya do a lot of catch and cook videos so I figured I’d ask ya. Looking forward to the next video. Tight lines man!
@Bass'N'Trout Was just watching *Tenkara Addict* 's April 16th video and what do you know, he's fishing the exact same spot. You guys know each other? Might be time for a colab.
Meanwhile, I continue to be amazed you find these hungry pockets of trout in small creeks. That's either good scouting, or you're getting good intel from friends and family.
You should try the lure called JOE'S FLIES there spinner like straight up.my go to it a fly tied to end of spinner all shorts if them 1/4 is what I use they have size 8 and 10 hook ones also but u need a little split shot like a foot above the smaller lures for some weight
In my experience, clean breaks are from knicks in the line, and then the end of the mono is kinda curly when you pull it up after a break its from the knot slipping then snapping or coming undone. Lots of branches to get a knick on honestly, plus those tigers have some CHOMPERS!
Nice - single hook best for that forest that you are fishing in. Safe to say yours is the first lure that they have seen. Do they crimp the barb down? Easier for C&R. I don't wet my hand either. Just don't handle them much if one is letting them go
That sucks loosing a lure first cast. Something that might help not sure if you do this. I wet my line before I get it tight either with the water or I put it I my mouth. The line nylon as you tighten it can burn weakening the line, and wetting it can keep it from burning keeping it strong. Love the videos keep up the good content
While I do agree, you can toss them back just fine. Please do wet your hand, their slime coating is extremely important to them. It protects them from all manner of things, if you want to have a healthy trout habitat for years to come, just take the two seconds to wet your hand. Its not that hard.
Water was to cold. Also, I caught like a hundred fish out of a hole just above this one when the water was super low and you could see all the fish. Didn’t wet my hands once. Came back a couple weeks later and there wasn’t a dead fish to be found. Keep in mind this was a small pool where you could see every fish and everything on the bottom. It’s kind of lake wearing a mask... sure you can do it, but your still about ahundred times likely to be killed in a car crash. Not wetting your hands when you touch a trout doesn’t do a dang thing. SQUEEZING them and getting a picture for Instagram does.
The internet randos who flip out on trout handling really have no idea how sturdy trout can be. I think they're just looking for an excuse to bust a gasket.
You wet your hands so they don't lose slime and get a fungal disease. When they're 2 inches they're terminal velocity isn't fast enough to harm them. When they get big, throwing them back can cause damage cause they're 15x the weight
I really like your catch and cook videos please make more.
More to come!
Best thing next to the old show i grew up on! Outdoors with doug Miller! 🎣 I Can fish all day and nite!
My favorite fishing channel. Love your content! Please do another catch and cook soon
for sure! Catch cook and camp videos coming soon!
I'm amazed at the size of fish you catch in little burns

Tiger 🐅 trout are so freaking cool. I love that purple lure.

You know you're from Utah when you say "crick".
Awesome video great spring time fishing coming from outdoors with mike 👋🏽👍🏽

OOhh my gosh a LEG REVEAL! I've been waiting for this! 😂

Another great video! I have yet to get out for trout but man, do I want to!! Need to check out those spinners!

All these fish are massive to me
Some monsters for a small creek!
Great video , as always, with proven spinners
Impressive video man! Please make some more video on this spot.
P.S. definitely u made a good advertisement of those spinners 😂
My favorite fishing channel and it’s out of the home state Utah! You going to get up to the Uintas this year?!
Oh maybe, I’m super unfamiliar with that area though..
Definitely a product that works! Thanks for the review! Seems like a good fishin hole!
Heck yeah it was! Days like this don’t happen very often!
Keep it up bro! I love your videos
You should check out mule fishing! It’s right up your alley and I think you’d slay with all the super durable plastics
Good job men nice fishing 🎣
Thank you!
Cool stuff! 😀

I’ve heard of some nice tigers coming out of Minnesota area, maybe up north by Canada?

Love your videos! Something that might help is taking some pliers and opening the hook just a hair, helps me a lot when jig fishing for crappie.
Nice tip! Thanks for watching!

Just contacted Magooster to get some stuff after seeing this video, they're local to me... Thanks for the visibility!
My goodness what a day! Just subbed your channel, excellent content!
Thanks I really appreciate it!
Love it!
Thanks man!
Great video. Just subscribed👍🏼
Thank you sir👍🏼
do more catch and cook i love it from the netherlands 👍
More to come for sure! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Talk about walking right into the action. Is your audio just coming from the GoPro? Sounds so clean. 👌
No I have a separate audio attachment. Thanks for watching!

Lots of driving😅
Would hold off on Panguitch lake a week or two. Caught fish but waters really dirty right now.
That's a great big tiger!
Alright that’s good to know. I know it’s usually pretty hot right about now
I’m still gonna wet my hand and let the trout swim off without throwing him in, bro didn’t choose to absolutely hooked up 😂
You should try the lure called JOE'S FLIES there spinner like straight up.my go to it a fly tied to end of spinner all shorts if them 1/4 is what I use they have size 8 and 10 hook ones also but u need a little split shot like a foot above the smaller lures for some weight
Tigers I never caught one yet it's on my bucket list . Just how big can one go ? Thumbs up 👆 love the videos !
biggest one I've caught was probably 7-8 pounds, I have a video of it actually. but the y could reach 15 plus pounds!
In my experience, clean breaks are from knicks in the line, and then the end of the mono is kinda curly when you pull it up after a break its from the knot slipping then snapping or coming undone. Lots of branches to get a knick on honestly, plus those tigers have some CHOMPERS!

Also low lb test plus all of that wood = easier break-offs. Does not take much to put a bad spot in the line
Yeah I agree, I think I would have got snagged way more with a treble. No they don’t crimp the barbs down..
I've never caught a tiger but I've heard of them it's a brown/brookie hybrid and think their sterile if I'm not mistaken. How good they taste?
That sucks loosing a lure first cast. Something that might help not sure if you do this. I wet my line before I get it tight either with the water or I put it I my mouth. The line nylon as you tighten it can burn weakening the line, and wetting it can keep it from burning keeping it strong. Love the videos keep up the good content
I don’t do that but I know some people do, maybe I should try it. Especially since I’m using 4lb test
In what states or country are you fishing on? Here in MN tiger trout is a rarity. Have never caught one before.
👍
What go pro do you use?
The hero 7 black. Still the best one in my opinion
@@bassntroutfishing cool I just got the 8 for my birthday
@@FishingBrothers1 Ive used the 8 in some of my videos as well, its a good camera to.
What is your favorite lure for trout
Rapala or spinner
What size tapas do you use? Great content man!
“Probably not gonna get as many hookups on this cause it’s a single hook”
Proceeds to hook up bout 38 times 😂
What mountain is this? If you're willing to give up some info 😁
I would love to know the name of this creek lol
Rod??

Their slim wets his hand for him. He’s good😂
Agreed it shows some respect too because they can die from skin diseases if too much slime is taken off!
@@C-HILL-420 That’s... that’s not how that works.
@@kolbinskiej I obviously know. Stop being the trout police. Leave that to Utah dnr.

I wonder if he works with biology or wildlife management he knows all the spots especially for splake and tigers in small creeks
State?
I think the fish you were holding was a spleak not a tiger
Sorry never mind
Is this your own property
Just like fishing in a bathtub.
First!

New subscriber here. Sweet honey hole!
Right on thank you!
Sure do have lots of tigers in utah why??????????? It is alot of effort to mass produce them in hatcheries
You wet your hands so they don't lose slime and get a fungal disease. When they're 2 inches they're terminal velocity isn't fast enough to harm them. When they get big, throwing them back can cause damage cause they're 15x the weight
I promise they’re fine😅
I feel like you were losing some fish because of the single hook but didn’t really matter
I do agree that the single hook makes it harder to get a good hook set. This hold’s true for the ultra light also.
Yeah I’m not complaining!
@@bassntroutfishing I wish there were creeks like these in California. Fishing for trout has been slim pickings lately
@@billyb329 I’m in cali too and i agree. Need to head to utah to catch me a Tiger trout
