Great videos thank you. For the windows use a slightly damp cloth, dip it in the ash at the bottom of the fire and use that to wipe the windows. Surprisingly it does work well!
Hi @fionanash8118
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
May I ask, now you have had the wood burner a number of years are the windows still clear and easy to clean? And would you still recommend it? We are thinking of getting the updated model at the moment. Thank you, these videos have been a great help.
Easy and easy,, it does take some work,, but it helps if you burn it really hot.
great stuff !!!! To get rid of smoke/soot on the glass, use the white ash (white ash only) and newspaper. Wet a bit of newspaper, dip into white ash and then use the white ash/moist to rub the stuff off the glass .....great for cleaning the glass. Dont bother with spray products. Good luck ! Richie.

Hi Scott Downey
Yes and I also enjoy the burning noises :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Hello, finally :-)
I'm using just wet sponge and just ash from woodstove. I didn't found anything better. If it's too dirty, I just put a lot of small wood chips to make BIG fire and dirt burn out of window.
That fire looks nice, good payoff for your hard work.
do you know if a pci riser for x3650 m4 will fit in an x3650 m3 ?
i see you are having the same pci issues as me
If you have dark brown tar build-up, it's from not running the stove hot enough. When running hot the secondary air intake will combust the smoke and prevent tar buildup.
Hi Richard Nutman

Looks nice and comfy ... we had fireplace in home but gutted it during a renovation , now use a gas heater instead.
Hi Garth Arendse (tibbydude)
Thank You very much! I also have a gas heater,, just got a spare 10kg flask for it yesterday :-)

I have a Morsø Squirrel in my house and I just clean the glass with a Stanley knife blade. However, I notice you have curved glass so best to scrape in 1 plane. Great site, enjoy your stove like I enjoy my Danish stove here in the UK
Hi kafkaian
Thank You very much! an Morsø in the UK,, nice!
Thank you for watching! :-)
Must be a very satisfying feeling to see a that hard work pay off. Have a nice day :)
Awesome, and good timing for the weather too. 👍 🔥

Congrats on the approval. Just in time for the cold weather!
Hi Ferrisbane
Thank You very much! first frost this night,,, but I made the wood stove video 14 days ago :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Starting to get frost in the UK. The fireplace looks really nice, hopefully it is giving out a lot of heat :)
What a nice stove. How has it been going so far? Do you recommend it?
I am still really happy with it,, only problem is that they have come out with a new model,, that also takes wood pellets,, and automatic with an app for the phone and all... I want that!!
My PlayHouse lol 😂. We always want the new shiny one don’t we. I real love the look of yours and can imagine reading a book while sitting next to it.
Hi, is it still good working? No Problem wirh aduro tronic? Thanks for your answer.
Hi mi mo
Yes this still works very well! and is burning right behind me
Thank you for watching! :-)
To the glass, take wet paper and put it in to the ash, then use it on the glass. It works great on mine at home and it's free 😉
Hi David Odbro
Thank You very much! Free is usually good :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Nothing like a great fire in the hearth! Good companion on a cold winter day.
I guess you can't burn regular wood in there or can you?? How does it compare for heat per cost vs your conventional means of heat?
Congratulations on your first burn! And please keep your intro sound the same. I have been enjoying that music for years now. Please don't change it! Also, be careful and let the glass cool before cleaning it. And don't forget to remove the little metal tool near the hinge before closing the door! I hope your stove helps you keep warm during the wintertime.
Hi albert semelmann

Dip some newspaper pages in a little water (not soaked in water). Then dip the wet part of the paper in the cold ashes in your stove. Rub the dirty wet ash infested pages against the burned glass and rub untill the dirt comes off! It will not take a huge effort. Then take a few dry newspaper pages and dry off! Clean, easy, accessible way of cleaning burned glass.

Mr Muscle oven cleaner works great for cleaning the glass and is very cheap. i have the ADURO 9-5 LUX stove my self and its great.
Hi Mr Nice
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)

Congratulations with your beautiful stove. Suggestion buy a special ash vacuum cleaner for the stove. The glass can be cleaned with spiritus or alcohol.
There are no cleaning instructions in the manual of the stove?
Hi lexpee
Thank You very much! I do have a spicial vacuum cleaner for ash.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Nice to see it finished! Love it :)
Really had a big laugh when you said "I have a fire in the living room" :D
Hi Rik van der Mark
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
I'm sure someone has suggested this but a hot fire over 500 F will keep your glass clean.
Hi!
I just bought one of that fireplace but my glass is complete black. It is doing a log of smoke, even the alarm has been activated. Could you help me to check what is the problem, why the glass of fireplace get black and now is very difficult to remove. I have been using the ashes but I am not able to remove the black .
What could be wrong?
I do also have this problem. If you can get it to burn extremely hot,, it will get rig of some of the black,,, many small pieces of dry wood will help.
Great to see the Stove in action!!! Very Nice, I would buy "real" wood for heating, not only it makes less mess it also looks better in the Stove when burning and has no other stuff in it. Great!
No, I would cut my own wood, then you save money and can shape it to your size.
Where do you buy that stove thanks for the video
Hi Mike Knop
That is an difficult question, but maybe you can ask them here : www.aduroshop.com/ I have no idear of where in the world they ship and cost.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Good Job, you hacked that door like a pro ;-)
Hi TrollingAround
Thank You very much! No reason to look for a backdoor then!!

Any plan to calculate how long the stove takes to increase the temperature and how many degrees it rises in the room?
Thanks (0:48) ... yeah, we American Dudes needed a "little help" with C. So, yeah, you were freezing your ass off until you lite that Puppy !!! Looks like you do a really good job!!! Congrats ...
Hi Poe Lemic
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Ash with water and some news paper can clean that glass nicely. Then get some windex to finish it off.
Cleaning the glass is simple and very cheap; use water and Ammonia in 3:1 and dry with tissue :-)
Cool video BTW, we have the same stove :-)
Hi Eppo Franken
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)

Would kitchen ovan cleaner work?
That bottom grill is too small for any more than two bricks.
Hope you kill that cold fast :-)
Hi zx8401ztv
Thank You very much! I am all good again,, video was recorded 14 days ago now,, but they had to come out in order. :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Next update on this wood stove project should involve some gear in your datacenter.
Maybe some real-time wood stove temperature monitoring (also with thermal camera imaging) or a remote-controlled fire starter. If you go hardcore, it could be some Mad Max-style propan-butan flamethrower inside, but that'd probably void your warranty and burn the playhouse down (it happened to another tech UA-camr, too - if you know Austin Evans' channel, he's that guy)
To be a little on topic: I liked how pedantic you were with cleaning the woodstove. I would just swipe the ash to ashtray and tthat's it, because next time it would be messy again :D .
Hi Murphistic
Thank You very much! I like to make power with the stove!
Thank you for watching! :-)
It finally works!
Hi Michael Jones
Thank You very much! and it works well now!!
Thank you for watching! :-)
Looks like a nice Stove :) For cleaning the windows I just use paper towels and water. You should be careful with other cleaning supplies and Fire... the fumes can be very unhealthy.
im glad you finished the wood burning project hope you'll do a vid on burning solid wood i wouldn't us pine its dreadful for burning
Nice vid, I would try ceramic hob cleaner, should be cheap in big supermarket/DIY store.
Hi capri2wd
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Maybe some form of hot water, baking powder and lemon solution? Seems to clean most things extremely well and means you don't have nasty chemical smells in the room.
Thank you for the nice video! I would however advice against using your vacuum cleaner for cleaning the stove. In my experience vacuum cleaners are not able to handle the ashes well. That dust is just too fine for the vacuum cleaner. The particles are so small that some of it will pass through the dust bag, through the vacuum motor, and eventually clog up your HEPA filter if you have one.
Would the glass on the front of the stove not get all black and sooty?
Matthew Smith Eventually, but excessive soot in the burning chamber is not a good sign. Either green wood or inefficient combustion.
Hi
It is not that bad,, just wanted to know if anyone knows of anything that works wonders!
Thank you for watching! :-)
hi, may i ask about the cost of this fancy stove
Hi Abdel Salam Alsabagh
I beleave it was 9.000 Dkr,, about $1350
Thank you for watching! :-)
I was sort of expecting you demo the stove function. Like can you really cook with these? Will frying an egg with a skillet to much to ask?
Hi Chris Bautista
Ohh I am sure I can cook something on top of it,, like a pot of coffee,, but I am not gonna be using it like that.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Wet piece of newspaper works well on the glass.
Hi Christopher Bertini
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
i seem to remember that newspaper works better than paper towel for cleaning the glass. been a long time since Ive had that problem though.
Ash and a bit of damp newspaper will clean the glass
Hi Colin Stobbart
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
To clean the windows on our log burning stove I use a small amount of Cif cleaner on a paper towel
If you use loggs Oxigene should always be on maximum intake.
The loggs are so compact compressed they need the oxygen
It's the amount of loggs which sets the relative m temperature in the room not oxygene intake
People sometimes think it's the oxygene button but that's a mistake when using loggs
Hi Dennis Canemark
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)

in the usa they call those compressed sawdust logs Presto Logs
Hi Austin Childs
Thank You very much! never heard that,,,

My PlayHouse irealy like your videos, have developed my server interest thanks to you and today works in a servicedesk but the goal is to end up in the Network Operations Center(noc)
Hi SNorkSWE
I hope you make it to noc :-) You just need to use you networking skills :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
You forgot to remove the warrenty sticker, didn't ya ?
And the glue burnt in to the glas ,you can see the round stain.
Hi y delzeyne
Thank You very much! I do think I removed it before the last recording.
Thank you for watching! :-)
the best thing to use when washing the windows is to use wet paper and ash from the stove! I usually use wet newspaper with a bit ash from the tray. That works really well! No need for fancy chemicals :-)
Hi Pål Arne Johansen
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
Hey Morton, congrats to your great work! While looking for reviews on the ADURO 9-5 I came across your chanel. I've watched all your vids regarding this project, well some others as well :-). However, as you have placed it back in 2016, I was wondering how's your long time experience with the ADURO 9-5? Did you encounter any problems after this time, not firing up correctly, dirt / ashes, etc? Thanks for letting me know; regards France
Hi france cleseur
Thank You very much! Mine is still working well, I think the glass becomes dirty really fast,, might be my wood.. and I have been looking at there new Aduro H1, witch is really smart,, but expensive.
Thank you for watching! :-)
I really really really really really wanted to see the smoke coming out of the chimney outside :(
Hi alistairstuart2009
Humm Yes I should have done that!! :-/
Thank you for watching! :-)
dont put burning wood too close to the "windows" and they wont get "burnt".
Hi ILZT
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
use the Ash to clean windows.. spotless clean
Ingen resource spild !
Yes use old wet newspaper and dip it in the ash, then clean the glass, works vey well!
STILL HAPPY WITH THIS STOVE?!
Hi SpartaMou5
Burning right behind me,,, Yes! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
@@MyPlayHouse Sry for shouting =) This stove just looks so gorgeous in use! Have you used ordinary wood, like birch logs?
Do you play videogames in your freetime especially when you cant do much more?

cleaning the glass try isopropanol , just not when its turned on :P
Hi Andrew Joy
Thank You very much! he he good advise!! do it cold!
Thank you for watching! :-)
You can dip some damp newspaper in the ashes and use that to clean the glass. I don't have a woodstove myself, but I get bored and learn things sometimes. Congrats on getting to use the stove.
Use ash to clean the windows.
You're welcome.
Hi securion100

first remove the stiker from the glass :)
Hi Carlos Portugal
HeHe Thank You very much! I did do that,, if you watch the end of the video,,it's gone.
Thank you for watching! :-)
Just water and some of the ashes will do the trick with cleaning the windows on the wood stove!
My mother in-law told me to ues wet paper n some ash left behind from the fire ( works for me )
If the wood has not been dry enough or has had sap,, this is not enough.. :-/
Clean the glasses with some wet paper and a little bit of ash.

I think you should change your intro to a new one... It's a bit odd. Anyway, content is not bad at all but the intro it's not impress enough.

Hi. The best "product" for cleaning the glass is actually the ash from the wood which has been burnt. DO NOT ever use any ash from coal or other solid fuel. Wood ash is amazingly efficient in cleaning. Just get a damp cloth, dip it into ash and clean the glass. Quick wipe after with a clean cloth and its done.
Hi Ian Macleod
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)

This is a very good stove for the price, I own the Arduro 9 since 8 Years and I am very happy with it. The windows on the side get easy black, but that is one of these things. I clean all the windows now and then with ashes and some water. That works very well and is for free. My mother wants a stove now, and she wants the 9-5, thats how I found you. Have a nice day!
Well I have been looking at the H1,, for a while.. I want that. :-)
@@MyPlayHouse Well, the H1 looks very interesting, though it seems not every owner is satisfied with it.
