I'm amazed that in 2021 someone could still think that it's possible for politics and science to be separate. The politicians made disrespect of science political. Scientists should not be afraid to speak up. Sure, parts of this talk went a bit more political than you'd see in most talks, but it's the speaker's choice. Obviously the immunotalk organizers didn't know he would say those things.
