Yes, there are a lot of good PTT's for the Kenwood 2pin. I don't like that setup at all since I've seen it fail way to many times. I highly suggest just changing radios while you are at it & going to a Baofeng multipin radio. I have an old video on the channel here that I made going through my growing pains & why I ended up going with this radio. ua-cam.com/video/2x38YwAYXjU/v-deo.html
It is smaller than a 3.5mm for sure, but I don't know for sure. It was a while ago since I made this video & since moved on to a different headset so I don't have it anymore to confirm the size.
How have these held up ? Im looling to get one for a comms class and some other milsim events, also how do these do for real gunfire ? The eletronic hearing
They're okay. A good value. Good as any other over the ear sub $100 hearing protection. MOD4 is much better. For the price, they're worth it. But if you plan to be hard on them regularly, a more robust option might be better.
Hi I'm a bit confused I have the m32 mod 4. And I wounder if the S10D Is the uppgrade or if it is allredy on the mod 4. And If i understand you right the S10D is better?
The S10D is a dynamic microphone. It comes with a capacitance type microphone. So unless you have chanced it, that is why you have. Dynamic has it's advantages but also has challenges with comparability. I talk about it in my MOD3 review & why I liked that they could be changed.
I think so, if you don't use them daily. With my 10% off code, even with some extras, you're at around $100. Pair it with a good PTT, and you should be good. Will it be as nice as Sordins? No. Did you save hundreds of dollars over the Sordins? Yes. And that's if you find them used & not beat up. You can opt for the M32 Pros as well.
I gave my m32 too my granson. Got a Z-TAC III way nicer. Has 4 different modes indoor & outdoor Modes. has self shut off mode list goes on... Earmore. SUCKS!! P.S. and the customer service sucks couldn't get help from nobody so I went and got three different new ones & gave my M32 to my grandson.
I have no experience with the Z-TAC III. Last time I messed with their stuff, it was only a toy & not hearing protection rated or resistant to anything. It all failed quickly. Earmor M32 has multiple adjustment modes and shuts itself off as well. It's not the best, supposed to be value. In the end, going with a real, quality product is the best in my opinion.
It would be cool if you could order it with the Dynamic microphone minus the price difference. That way if you updated the headphones in the future all your amplified PTT would work since most duty grade PTT are amplified
Good video! Is there some amplified PTT to bao/Kenwood or motorola pinout?
I would like to upgrade my unit.
What is this military grade radio?
I have a whole video playlist on the military replica radio. ua-cam.com/video/U2SdwC1k7v0/v-deo.html

does the mic use a 3.5mm plug? or is it like a 2.5?

Does anyone know where to get mod 3 mic or something similar that would work I hate this new design broke 2 already.
I would recommend just getting a better headset. The M32 is one step above a toy... it is an extreme value option.
Where did you get the PTT for the UV9R?
I got it from SkyEye tactical. ebay.us/H6HTBQ

what's your honest opinion, is the price difference enough to get these over sordins?

Anyone know what 3m,opscore, unity tactical helmet mounts work with these? The helmet mounts from earmor look really crappy
If you find one, let us know. Not sure if anyone will have a mount that is more expensive than the headset though & market is specifically for it.
Can confirm 3m peltor mounts work & gibbousoutfitters is working on a mount for them
@@BobBob-il2ku Thanks for letting us know!

I agree, I wouldn't be surprised if CommGearSupply would work with buyers to make that happen.
