Senpai manages to sneak out the window to get outside and looks around at the world. Laughter begins to swell inside of him, one of pure elation, but he just manages to hold it down for the moment; for if he sang his victory song now it will surely be heard. Climbing down, Senpai hits the grass with a thud as the smell of the earth fills his nose. He leans down and touches the grass, as if for the first time, and simply takes in the air for a moment before feeling the disk in his fingers once again. He looks at the game within his hand and reels back his arm to throw it as far as possible, but before he does so he hesitates. The look in the blue-haired boy's eyes fill his gaze-and doubt in his mind.
He looks back at the disk, confused and only the slightest bit guilty. It had been his prison for so long, and now it will be theirs. Hate filled his heart for the girl, but the boy was innocent to the whole ordeal. He just wanted some fun, just as he once did so long ago. Time passes for a moment as he simply stares at the disk, but before he can come to a conclusion his adrenaline spikes and his heart races as a menacing aura can be felt from behind him. Subconsciously, he shoves the disk into the backpack as he turns to see... nothing. The window was open-the curtains dangled-yet no one was there. Deciding it was wiser to leave sooner than later, he headed to the train station-distancing himself from this place as quickly as he could.
Once arriving he checked his pockets and reality began to sink in. He had no identity, no money, no residence, nor family to go back to. Freedom may have been given to him, but the cost of such freedom came with a new type of suffering, though he took solace that this suffering was temporary and merely required a bit of effort to push through. Just as he was readying himself to leave the station, a mechanical click rang out behind his head and he turned to see a short orange-haired boy holding him at gunpoint.
An ultimatum was given to him, the backpack or his newly-regained life; it seemed that the world had not changed all that much in his absence. Reluctantly, he chucked the backpack at the shorter man as a distraction as he ran with his tail between his legs. Senpai ran and ran until his legs gave out, and then he ran some more for good measure.
Now, he had truly nothing.
His stomach grumbled as hunger began to rear its ugly head, the sensation was so new that he wasn't sure if he enjoyed it or hated it. Still, it gave him comfort as it was a sign that he was still alive-after so much time trapped he was _still alive._
Wait...
Trapped?
Oh fuck.
*His Backpack.*
Is that kid going to play the game? Is he going to release the blue-haired boy? Is that _d e m o n_ going to come after him? Surely, he must, he trapped his daughter in there after all. Anxiety began to rear its head, but before it could he quashed it with a hardened composure; too long had been afraid, too often-even tonight-had he been embraced by fear.
He won his fight, he broke his chains, now he just has to make sure that they'll never find him again.

You can tell from the moment he escaped, that was the souls in control, celebrating their victory. But the next part is... Where do they go now?
