(Not that healers shouldn't DPS, it was never meant that way and don't any of y'all start with that.) Ergo more heal buttons require more space.
Damn, that's sad. Always loved picking healers in games and going full dps. Oh well, maybe it's still possible, not even sure if I'm going to play this game anyway.

I was shocked more than sad when I saw Nanamo "die". But that was because I kinda saw it coming with the Syndicate. Then that shock was replaced with pure, unadulterated, murderous rage.
I love that every Scholar has this love-hate relationship with Eos. We love Eos for she gives us time to DPS. We hate Eos because she likes to just do nothing for several seconds, forcing us to heal. Also she likes to take her time when you order her to cast her HoT. Just to remind us that without her we are nothing and we depend on her.

Shiro has I'm going to butcher this but one of his abilities which was only really good at making your own map became broken because of the new rules as long as he gets the right equipment like pen ink all that stuff he can make magically binding contracts he used it to turn a character who is dying who was an NPC into an adventurer just so that character would survive his death sentence as an adventurer he would be revived. Sadly it's not used too much I think because the writer didn't want to Mary Sue the f*** out of him because of just how broken he can make these magical contract but it's a useful ability to have none the less. But yeah I agree that shiro is a lot like the scholar class except using a staff as you pointed out over a book

To be fair, you need to have a high IQ to understand the Scholar class. The subtle spells and summons of fairies will affect your team greatly as you are an offensive healer is what makes this class an excellent class for those who have a 900+ IQ, writing notes in our tomes to heal teammates and summoning Eos or Selene. When we see another scholar, we use the opposite fairy. As we scholars are a class of high intellect, we certainly know how to get positive commends at the end of the day. We are an offensive support class for Chads wanting to DPS more as a healer.
I came here for some basics on how my class plays. Got spoiled about major story elements. 10/10 scholars do their research into the game before playing.
"Why should I heal? Be greatful that I'm dpsing! My fairy can heal you just fine." -tank is always at less than 100 health.- I cry everytime... This is why I heal as a scholar.

There are a few ways. Doing dungeons (at your level you should be about to or have the first 3 unlocked), doing FATES, and leves assuming you havent gotten palace of the dead yet. Just know that if you haven't done it doing the main story is a good thing to do because most things dont unlock until you get further in the story.

If I remember right, the main guy from Log Horizon is a healer. So Scholar is basically him but with a book instead of a staff.
I wouldn't really call shiro a healer I think he is more of a buffer/debuffer maybe something like a bard minus the bow and replace it with a staff.
