- Tabloid television star Steve Wilkos went from the military to the police force to the set of the Jerry Springer show. After gaining popularity as on-set security, Wilkos was given his own talk show and became a star in his own right. Wilkos sits with WSJ's Lee Hawkins to chronicle his journey.

I love Steve Wilkos and he is the man!
The show surpassed his own expectations. He’s an incredible human being and deserving of all his praise.
This is a prime example of what hard work can achieve.

cutemimi25 I’m 4 years late to respond, but what the heck. I like Springer as a “person”. Obviously I don’t know him, but his show was ridiculous. I like seeing him on other shows etc, but his “talk show” was a Hot Mess 😳😳
Steve I love ya man! I would rather put on Steve Wilkos, then Jerry Springer any day. You basically took what was good on Jerry, and made it your own. Your shows are a lot cleaner, and serve a much better purpose. You seem to always give your helping hand to those who want change, but don't know how to do it, as well. You just have a good heart man, and it doesn't take long to see. From a long lived fan Pete. :)

Rodgerinho He judges the people that are off in there ways, and he tries making the situation better again. That's what makes it good.
kyle6047 He doesn't have any right to judge anyone, he's not a judge, and that process involves something well-established and regulated called laws. He doesn't have all the answers to make situations better, because, he can't possibly know the situations better than the people living in them.
It sounds like Steve Wilkos knows when to quit & when to step down & retire. I really respect that & I wish that all of Hollywood could be like him.

I love his personality I love how it's true he is with his feelings and say exactly on how he feels about the situation and he will tell the truth about how he feels he won't lie about it. He is a true person.
This guy is a pure legend, a really good man and he deserves the best, kudos to you Steve Wilkos, you're a brilliant man and I love your show :D

I watch the Steve wilkos show everyday and I'm hooked I love it, and I love to watch Steve find Justice for the families that are hurt by all them sick twisted fucks!!!! I never wanted watch Steve’s show. I assumed it would be the same “scripted trash” as Springer. It’s only been because of the videos, I’ve watched here on UA-cam, that I realized just how wrong I was. I respect Steve for who he is - a caring person who wants to make things right for the people who need it. He’s not fake or “over the top”.

All I want to know is why these people can't be original with their show names. Why has it always been the Steve Wilkos show or the Maury show, Oprah, Wendy Williams and so on. Can't they seriously come up with something more original?
What do you suggest?
Kadene Harvey If they used something descriptive that's primarily what their show is about. Maury is mostly known for DNA tests, maybe he could've called his show DNA & More or Maury's Insanity. Anything except "Maury". Jerry Springer could've called his show Jerry's Crazy Train.
