just 2 things i want to point out quickly (no hate i think these r pretty good song choices): 1:22 although produced by ayase (like into the night and ghost city tokyo), i'm pretty sure idol doesn't have an official vocaloid cover. the reason why into the night got into the game is because ayase has an ep where miku covers the that song (and others). (according to the official wikipedia page for "idol", it would seem the song was originally supposed to be sung by a vocaloid, but then got changed [to my understanding, i think ayase had already been fan of the onk manga so he wrote a fan song, then got reached out to by the anime producers so they changed it?] ) 5:28 my main concern with mind brand (or most maretu songs in general ngl) is the lyrics and meaning. i know colorfulstage already has darker songs but i feel like this one is kind of stretching it a bit (since i think most of the other songs are mostly implying it or use metaphors/language that kind of beats around the bush? please correct me if i'm wrong) because of the strong language used and the theme overall (some people interpreted it as an unhealthy relationship/sexual assault) but i guess it's not impossible, since they do have songs like jishoumushoku, goodbye, ura-omote lovers, lost one's weeping, etc. sorry to get so "🤓☝🏻" for a silly little video, it's just my personal view on things, and who knows? we might get all these songs in the future
@@prosecutormafuyu im sorry for my mistake, but after watching an english translation of brain revolution girl, it doesn't seem to me that this song has as much of a heavy theme as the the others do. i've gone into the comments and read some of the theories of it, i saw one person (sasusakufan3) that said something about a physically abusive relationship while another few said they saw it as a song about an online argument. tl;dr: overall, i think perhaps sega thought the meaning wasn't too explicit, and added it to the game (just my thoughts on the matter, it's okay if you don't agree)
They literally have Kagerou Daze, which is pretty damn disturbing and talks about people dying, I doubt something with a dark meaning would be stretching it.
I also think it would be great to have idol in mmj but sadly that will never happen, the song is probably already licensed by the anime or something, there are a lot of anime songs I would like on pjskai But usually they only cover vocaloid songs (or from big producers, like the Ado collab or the addition of Yoru ni Kakeru)

I really want Po Pi Po in the game as a virtual singer song, it’s one of the classic Vocaloid songs and it was my first Vocaloid song, I would do anything to have it in the game.

Lagtrain is getting added to the jp servers soon and brain revolution girl was recently added as a vbs song and it’s so good so if you’re on the English servers then it should come out in about a year (also my friend said that if the reception of maretu songs on sekai is good then we could get more so maybe siu darling mind brand etc could be added and I’d be especially hyped for mind brand since one of my ocs is based off of mind brand)

Also news on the maretu thing: the jp servers like the maretu song but it’s not very well known in jp so we could get more but they don’t think it’s gonna be soon
