- History repeats itself. Speakers (Marty, Doc) in two scenes have nearly identical dialogue. They are not believed, and doors are slammed in their faces.

Well, count me among those who've seen these movies dozens and dozens of times and never picked up on this. Amazing how these movies continue to surprise even after so many viewings. Great job making the connection!
Thanks! With their fun characters, economical writing, themes, humor, and endless details to notice and connections to make, there are few movies as infinitely rewatchable as these three. Only this year did I realise why the destination for Einstein's trip was 1:21 am: to match the 1.21 gigawatts needed for time travel.

Here's a puzzler: which of these conversations happened first? Chronologically, it's Doc and Clara here, but Doc is repeating what Marty said to him back in the first movie, which was earlier in Doc's life then his talk with Clara.
