My name is Saadat, I'm a graduate biology student and my main passion is wildlife and ecosystems. We are growingly becoming disconnected with our food in modern society. Food comes from nature, but in modern society, it seems we are beginning to forget that. This is why I like to raise my own livestock, go hunting, and do whatever I can to avoid supporting big box stores and the factory-farmed products they sell wrapped in plastic. When buying something, if we all just asked ourselves, “What am I contributing to?” much of our environmental issues would vanish in a matter of decades. I am especially against concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs). I instead favor food production systems in which Earth’s ecosystems are mimicked and nature’s cycles are harnessed.
