This is exciting I haven’t read a lot of historical fiction novels but I always have loved a period piece. If I were to get into fictional writing myself it would definitely be a historical novel. Akawaeke is pure talent their new book is on my tbr too!
I'm for sure into lit fic and historical fic.😁I own the death of Vivek Oji, (haven't read it yet), Let us descend (read that one), my Monticello, not yet read, an American marriage, (that book broke me), his only wife (the twist was like a chair being pulled back from under me. Left me shocked but in a fantastic way!) The mountain sing broke me over and over and over...it barely put me back together by the time I was finished with the book. A woman of endurance was pure trauma, but such a great beautiful story. I look forward to your reviews of all these books!

I love your brief descriptions here. Definitely giving me motivation to push some up on the TBR list!
