I don't consider BSG Deadlock to be a perfect representation of power levels, but this match up between Osiris and this particular basestar is about perfect. Osiris always loses unless it nukes and rams the basestar, causing a tie.

Yeah NO. I'll never understand the corporate decisions around the whole reimagined series. 4 seasons of BSG was perfectly packaged, not too short nor too convoluted like other 13-season Pißwasser fiction. And then what? Oh, let's produce a few TV dinners and a 1 season Caprica spaceLESS opera and let the franchise go back to the void. The only thing really consistent about the whole reimagined series is Bear McCreary.
@@formulafrank3527 definitely agree with you. And its timely with AI taking over as it is. They could have pulled stories right from today to stoke the flames. They REALLY should reconsider a reboot today. How can SyFy cancel THAT after one season, yet support Sharknado. Netflix should buy the rights.
Blood And Chrome isn't that bad. This was a prequel to Battlestar Galactica. This wasn't about any of that prophecy or destiny stuff finally revealed thousands of years later in BSG. I think it portrayed this era of BSG perfectly. It was a bloody struggle, humans are trying to win the war, and the Cylons are trying to evolve. It's a perfect prequel setup.
CEOs in general are nothing more, nothing less than sacks of shit that haven't been taken out. Find any problem with the modern world, that isn't tied to the other problem, politicians, and it's tied to some frakface CEO.
La La Land records is your best bet. That's where I got mine, they were extremely helpful and generous and I do everything I can to encourage other people to patronize them because of it.
if battlestar athena joined osiris the fight would end other way... athena along columbia and galactica were fighting in first cylon war where columbia exploded.
The commander surely must have realised they were facing a death match surely she must have been aware that an Orion class ship was no match for a base star
@matthewcaughey8898 You means the ones that got jammed and could launch, so they had to ram into the Basestar and trigger them manually? Like I said, a death match. And even they could fire, who's to say they might not clear the blast radius in time?
Seriously, those guys that decided NOT to make a Blood and Chrome Series should be fired and banished to.. let's say Saudi Arabia... great acting, areat acreenplay, great soundtrack, the pilotfilm was awesome, this could have been THE new scify-shit!! First cylon war, i guess there would have been room for plenty of incredible awesome space combat that wouldn't have been possible in BSG to that extent...
E. Mailissimo especially since we never got to see a Battlestar actually engage in combat, seeing a major battle as a series finnale would have been epic!
+E. Mailissimo Someone should talk to amazon or Netflix. they seem to like pushing movies and a series like BSG especially after normal networks decided to do. well I have no idea what the fuck the networks do these days
I think they decided not to do it because of the heavy reliance on CGI. There's VFX in almost every shot. Can't make a series with that type of restriction.
When _BSG_ comes back, they've got to hire back McCreary.
Love the little Egyptian sounding bits Bear put in this and of course that sick guitar!
This is on par to "Storming New Caprica", and the loss of Pegasus.
I've got still hope for BSG...

This has become a new fav of mine now.
Love this song and Osiris!
the little drum break at 5:50 made me lose my shit
Love this song.
First the Matrix, now Galactica. What does Hollywood has against Osiris, man?
I hear the music and I see the rockets and the anti-aircraft batteries, is there any more music like this? Maybe Morricone?
Love the part that starts at @4:05
Metalstar Galactica.
5:16, 6:09 :O
Need the B&C version of Apocalypse.
