This is a very old downtown area. It reminds me of Detroit lots of older skyscrapers. It says alot about the local economy there. Im from NYC and was in Cleveland once as a stop on the Greyhound bus at 2 in the morning. The bus terminal downtown was old and creepy. I had to use the toilet and there were no doors on any of the stalls and homeless guys were wandering around.
you can easily recognize the problem with Cleveland traffic lights. Every block is red. One turns green but the next block turns red! It's horrible. They really need to fix this
I lived in and around Cleveland from '58 to '78 and your observation was fairly accurate. When the sun came out we would go to the window or go outside to see it. Planning outside activities in the summer was usually a futile task. Unless you needed rain for your adventure. I heard someone explain the weather in Wisconsin., They had 8 months of snow and three months of crappy sledding and the month of august people stayed indoors because of the mosquitos. Seems that would also work for Cleveland weather. On the plus side the rain kept the fires from the race riots confined to the east side ghettos. If there were satellites in those days, NASA could see Hough Ave.
This looks like the guy was trying to put Cleveland in a negative light. As one who lives in Michigan but visits Cleveland every year among other cities in America, I can say that the CLE looks a heck of a better than what is portrayed in this unworthy video. ICK!!
Hi! As part of a local non profit project, i am making a kickstarter video with edited, sped up clips of people driving through Cleveland. Can i possibly have permission to use bits of this video?
those streets seems similar to those in my city, Rosario, Argentina. Unfortunately we don´t have those beautifull buildings that Cleveland have. Best wishes, Dante
+greg kennerly You're right, the video is as boring as shit. He didn't show any sights at all except the west side of Progressive Field and the Q. He didn't know where he was going. Anyone who has been to Cleveland knows that it's an exciting vibrant city.
Cleveland's not boring at all. Unfortunately the MORON who produced this video doesn't know up from down, east from west, or how to show off a city. Let this knucklehead loose in New York or Paris, and I guarantee you the results would be equally grim. They should take his camera and car keys away, and permenantly exile him and his CD collection to so some out of the way spot... like Antarctica!
jockboy69 that's not Cleveland 's music ... nice try but I know you understand that was the choice of the person video taping ''' anyway Cleveland looks like a ghost town ,and they stilllllll have that same long butt red light as if traffic is heavy ,set for the same timer it was on 5 years ago'' its sad to see nobody there ,he did do a great job on the video on the easy ability to get through downtown '' Cleveland use to be the place to be , wonderful food ,people ( obeying traffic law ) also showing road courtesy ,using blinkers !? Wow ,I miss Cleveland . I was raised there and raised my children there , great educational system ( suburbs) and private schools, awesome MUSIC ( jazz , light rock, r&b ) it was a great place ... mayor White helped it to die ( I don't think he meant too) bottom line is he jacked up Cleveland in his term!!!! And I will only now come to visit ,, I don't know what this current mayor is doing ( obviously ) nothing ... Cleveland is a great town ,if someone would just invest in it''' pastor Vernon of the Word church is definitely trying to make a difference .LeBron came back to also make a sacrifice and a difference ( this is his roots) but we need more companies to come back and make the job market exceed again ( that makes the difference ++++++ Invest in Cleveland the great land I know+++++++

Does Cleveland know you can pave the roads more than once?

You could have edited out stopping at red lights....
This music is wretched
minimal techno soundtrack YAY
Every video people get caught at that same traffic light.
Our Orange barrels seem to never end its embarrassing..
The road seen at 4:40 was actually recently redone. It looks really good now, actually.
wtf is he playing
Cleveland looks like one of the most boring city, or maybe it's just Ohio in general?
it's pretty much the whole state. I used to live in Illinois my whole life and moved to Ohio and it's a bigger difference than you would think
Or maybe this video is as boring as shit....

Shudddddderrrrrr...awful. The music is atrocious and, seriously, sitting through RED LIGHTS on the video? Nice try, but it doesn't work.
