ESC 2008 having the most serious and classical intro of the 2000's yet also being the most absolutely trolliest year of that decade will never not be funny to me XD
As a Serb myself after I rewatched the 2008 contest I just now realized how bad 2008 was with the songs. A lot of songs that luckily stayed in the semi final made me feel cringe or embarassed (like Montenegro, Estonia, Belgium, Ireland, Belarus, Malta; of the finalists only Spain did that).
@@miloseviczarko45 Truetrue, probably because of the fact that it was a year where mostly the public had the power over picking the acts to send in their respective national finals and juries were nearly non-existent at all and almost everyone just took the absolute piss out of it🥲
@@williamchapple8886 except for Russia who really showed they were willing to spend money hosting the next year, being the second most expensive Eurovision only followed by Azerbaijan who pretty much had to make everything from scratch
I’m definitely not a fanboy of Sweden of any kind, but 2000 and 2013 are just on the other level sound design-wise, as well as visually. Swedish design school is just that good.
My Eurovision broadcasters if aired on Cartoon channels in 2005-2024: 2005-2008: Disney Channel 2009-2013: Cartoon Network 2014-2019: Nickelodeon 2021-present: Nickelodeon on Paramount+
It's so interesting to see that Eurovision had different types of looks over time, first it had that classical 80's look, then it had clip art looking animations, then it introduced dynamic graphics and animations, and now it has simple and colorful look
Well, I'm from Greece and I think that the disk of Phaistos was just irrelevant. Also, the national final then had a much better theme than just the typical of Greece; ✨sEa✨. ua-cam.com/video/xota54n9Hpk/v-deo.html.

Yeah but the hosts were my favourite
I also kinda think that’s when the financial crisis was at its worst so no one really wanted to win 😂

Every Swedish intro gives me goosebumps - 2000, 2013 and 2016
2000 is a classic. The first of the modern era, arena Eurovisions. I like the openings by RTE when lreland hosted in the 90s too, particularly 1993.
1997 was even better; way ahead of its time.
Esc 97 has the most interesting intro in 90s
True, never realized 2000's hiphop mv graphics can actually be included in a Eurovision opening theme until now XD
Way ahead of its time. Still can't believe it was ACTUALLY 1997...
It was like opening of a sci-fi movie.
I have a lot of softness for 2003's and 2021's. They both look and sound so soothing
And on the contrary I love 2000's and 2011's tense vibes
I’m definitely not a fanboy of Sweden of any kind, but 2000 and 2013 are just on the other level sound design-wise, as well as visually. Swedish design school is just that good.
Eurocat is such an abomination, I love him 🤣
05:14 2000, first intro with a smoothles transition from intro to stage/live. Plus great build up of tension.
2011 is my absolute favourite theme

2010 looks like some apartment/real estate or casino ad tbh

2009, is actually the best for me. This giving energy. ❤
it's wild comparing the intros in 1992 and 1999, it's the same concept but there's such a step up in animation quality
same with 2000 and 2009, in the animation quality at least
17:30 sent shivers down my body lol
I'm so proud of having the best intros of all of the times, love all Eurovision family from Azerbaijan🇦🇿❤🇪🇺
It's so interesting to see that Eurovision had different types of looks over time, first it had that classical 80's look, then it had clip art looking animations, then it introduced dynamic graphics and animations, and now it has simple and colorful look
2000 Stockholm gives me goosebumps every time.
Imagine you're living in 1997 and see these effects for the first time, I would be like "The world can not be more technologic than this.'
2014 is so emotional it makes me wow can imagine that next year will be 10 years since copehangen hosted
2003 is so adorable i could tear up
2000 was my favourite. I'd actually like if they did this again this year instead of the flag parade, or meld them together
1999 is cool, I LOVE IT
Once again I am frightened by how quickly progress is happening in the world of electronics
I love the melody from 2014
2010 Grand Final had a different intro, I wish you'd also include it. Nevertheless, a great compilation!
2003 is so cute :)))
And adorable. Knows to make me cry.
1997 and 2000 were so dark 🥺😵
6:59: “Welcome Europe!”
Loved Jerusalem 99
2021 is the best 😍
2003 is my favourite.
Sameeee
I also like it so much, but it also makes me cry a lot...
Stocholm 2000 - amazing
I don’t know why but I like how 2017 sounds
I like 2006, 2007 and 2008 the most. Also 2010 and 2015 are pretty good too.
Russias 2009, one is amazing.
Eurovision Song Contest 1990’s mascot is “Eurocat”
2012 is 100% my favourite, so magical
Love how Ireland won back to back 3 times in a row 🎉
2004 Türkiye 🇹🇷 🇹🇷 🇹🇷
2015🤩🤩
2006 the best one.

Moscow has the most Moskau song sounding lol.
Lisbon 2018 & Rotterdam 2021 are the best
Az 1990 -es Zágrábi intro mindent visz 🤣
A lettországi után.
Us Croatians know how to put on a show 😂🇭🇷❤️
2021 looks like Olympic Games style
Buku 2012❤
I see 1991 was a trainwreck from minute 1
Esc 2003 opening is sooooo underrated

2003 looks both adorable and creepy...
2009 outsold
The 90's were the best
1991 entry is the best ever
What do you count as an intro? Cause you botched literally all of 2013
Where's the link to original videos at 17:14 ?
Never said I'd link it.
@@tusanesc how do you know the video you got?
Best one 2012
Where is the part 3???
2014 was the best

#kyiv_not_kiev
Norway 96 was cool
So Te Deum was first played in 1996😯?
No its been used since long time ago. At least from the 60s I think.
I cropped it out. It's been used since 1957.
@@tusanesc oh okay...
По света и у нас intro music 😂
2013 had a great intro that you didn't include
It wasn't an intro.
2012 the best one 💥
No it's not
It gives me shivers. 2012 contest gave me lot of precious memories.
Stockholm 2000 was the best!
