- Finally, after months of suffering and turmoil, the kids are freed of their father. Boris Anderson is finally having justice served against him and the odds don't look favorable for him. Will Boris be able to get himself out of this one or will the court of law put him away for his crimes? All this and more during the finale of Life Without Doris.

I disagree with the lawyer's views on discipline. It's absolutely the same as abuse, which makes it bad!
I don't agree. It's just a matter of what sort of discipline you employ. Boris's discipline is without a doubt abuse, but something like a literal slap on the wrist for a reasonable purpose is fine.

I totally think this last statement from Boris is a reference to Hunter from Fast Forward, seeing as Boris without a doubt saw him as his "true son." Nice to know we might see him in some capacity even if Fast Forward itself isn't remade.

Finally got around to watching the finale! What can I say except it was brilliant? I LOVE the more authentic court experience. And let me just say, I feel SO bad for the defense attorney? He knew he was cooked as soon as Boris opened his mouth. I also really like the idle chatter and actions you can see around the courtroom while the case goes on- with Boris and Doris speaking to their respective lawyers quietly, and the jury passing around documents.
And the cameos! Richie Verdi being one of the jury is a sweet touch. My suspicions were also confirmed- Mark makes an appearance before Life With! That means he's a lot more involved with Doris and the kids beforehand, which is nice.
Can't wait for the next remake! So glad I found this channel right after rewatching the original.
