You had me worried in the beginning because you kept showing the head block ties sticking out into the road, lol. Glad you put them on the other side and glad you showed us how to do it and the comparison for the two products. I think your 24 hour refrigerator test showed that celluclay left sculptamold out in the cold.

New subscriber. Nice work. You had me at Boomer. lol. I wonder if he realizes how influential he has become in the hobby. I can think of at least 6 different productions I have heard his name mentioned. He has inspired me too to start practicing to return to the hobby.
Anyway, I enjoyed your video and immediately subscribed. Happy holidays, Merry Christmas and all that good stuff.

Thanks, General Sir! I like to show what happens when a non-artist (me) tries Boomer's techniques. You don't have to be an artist to do this stuff (but it probably helps 😄) Welcome back to the hobby, thanks for the sub, Happy Holidays! Oh BTW, Boomer is one of my subscribers too! Take care - Bill

Thank you for the very informative celluclay vs. sculptamold video.
Central New York is a great region to model, too!
    Great Work!
(I once used glossy painted, celluclay, to model the rough water of a PT boat diorama. Looked pretty good).

Thanks Larry! I got some Golden GAC 500 to touch up the water💧 on my (Seneca) lake. The waves are too smooth and flat right now. I'll probably do a video on that when I get around to it. Take care - Bill.

I'm really looking forward to your next tutorial using the golden GAC 500 to touch up the water, on your lake Seneca!
(My brother lives in Liverpool outside of Syracuse and told me what the hooker chemical plant did to lake Onandoga, there years ago).
You have a really great model railroad of an absolutely beautiful area of Central New York, Bill.

@@larrydee8859 Thanks! It probably won't be my next video, but somewhere down the line. I don't go by a rigid plan, I do what I really feel like doing at the time. I think that way I can do a better, more fucused job. Hopefully Onandoga can rebound with time. Thanks for your comment! Take care - Bill.

I mix latex paint into my celluclay. I just buy the cheapest brown latex Walmart sells. That way I don't have to worry about any white showing through.

Hi Jeff! Yup, I think I have done that before as well. I seem to never do anything the same way twice 😂. Always trying out new stuff. Thanks for commenting! Take care - Bill

I guess cellu-clay is the way to go. Mileage may vary.
