Fully grown male German Shepherd size is usually between 24-26 inches tall and 65-90lbs.
And female German Shepherd size is typically within 22-24 inches tall and 50-70lb.
The average weight of German Shepherd puppies, according to a giant census study of dogs in Italy, is about 503 grams at birth. They can range from370-600 grams at birth.
1- Neonatal Period
Like all puppies, GSD puppies to are born with their ears and eyes closed, with a part of their umbilical cord still attached; this will fall off on its own in a couple of days. They are completely dependent on their mother during this period, until 2 weeks after their birth. As their nervous system is still developing, puppies usually curl up when they are picked up. They are unable to eliminate and need their mother’s help.
2- First Week
This is when the puppies begin to stretch their legs and arch their backs when they are picked up. They also begin to crawl around this time. They tend to develop early if they are handled by humans. Around the mid-fourth week, their eyes and ears begin to open. Their eyes are greyish blue in colour, and cannot focus.
3-Second Week
In this week, they develop the ability to crawl better, and their eyes and ears would have fully opened. The puppies become a little more independent from their mother and take their first wobbly steps. Also, they most importantly eliminate on their own. Around four and half weeks into their little lives, they begin to socialize with the others in their litter. They will pile up on each other and try to wag their tails. This is when they also experience the growth of their first incisor teeth.
4-Third Month
The juvenile stage stretches into sexual maturity. At this stage, their ears are straighter. They would have also developed motor skills, and are ready to learn new skills and tricks. You should be continuing the socialization since the socialization window is almost closed, at 16 weeks.
5-Seventh to Twelfth Month
Males reach their sexual maturity by this time. They raise their legs to urinate at this stage. Their getting bigger and more independent. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини

I love GSD since I was a kid. Own Dobies for 30+ yrs. They have a lot in common. They love ordinary things as toys. The plastic bottle is a big with the crunch and feel. I like you let Dollar explore and with his mouth. Many people “no!” puppies for play biting but they use mouth like we use hands as kids. Beautiful GSD! ❤. Thanks for sharing!

Good video, few tips for you. 1. Don't let him walk in front of you, the dog thinks that He is in -charge, in fact, it is you in charge and the dog should know that. Train him to walk beside you at all times and for that do not use the harness, use neck collar and leash, Keep the leash short and keep high up so that the Dog stay in control. Once He is trained walking with you, you can get back to harness. 2. He should not charge at any animal or human un-necessary. It develops nervousness in dogs. This is a guard dog and His all-time instinct is to protect you. But He should not be charging anyone without your permission. Make sure He is sitting beside you at all times during normal circumstances and only observe. Charge only at your command. It will give the dog the sense that He only reqiuired to protect the owner in a special circumstance and it will develop confidence in the Dog. Thanks!

I've owned and trained Shepherds for thirty years. The long hairs have a different personality than the smooth coats. I lost my last West German long hair this last May. I had two of them. I just got a Czech Shepherd which is from very good East German bloodlines. They all have different personalities. Some you can train with just voice changes and others you might have to be more physical. One thing is for sure, a long hair sheds a mattress full of fur EVERY week!
