when I first played the OG mission, I actually overestimated the difficulty of the zerg waves. I just built enough bunkers and place the missile turrets strategically around the base. After that it was repair and repair. It wasn't until I realized that hitting the enemy bases were much easier than just sitting around.

"After failing to negotiate *anything* with Confederate command, Magistrate issued orders to all available and un-arrested forces to gather in last standing city for holdout evacuation, which wasn't alot due to Confederacy's mass arrests of any militia forces. Just as things seemingly couldn't get any worse, *they did:* The Zerg started mass assaults on any remaining Terran settlements, with 3 outposts falling already. Looking for all available options for any kind of support, preferably military type, Magistrate found him/themself without any option... except the extremists, Sons of Korhal, which conviently were calling right now. Their liason suprisingly was the defacto ruler of '^'Sons of Korhal'^', the Arcturus Mengsk himself! He ofcource made an offer that Magistrate can't refuse, and because of that Magistrate taken it up immediatly. But with a cruel twist of fate, Magistrate recieved a high-alert report: *Zerg scouts had already attacked Evacuation Zone.* When Magistrate and 2 Commanders arrived, they swiftly taken control of all remaining Militia and started reinforcing with their limited forces 3 city entrance chokepoints. Almost immediatly a request from on of the Vulture bikers: to send an SCV for bunkers and his bike's repair, which was damaged by Zerg scouting forces. 3:45 Geez, still have 13 minutes left and the zerg already hammer the base super hard😂. An actually good depict of Zerg invasion though. Dropship pilots: "Strange, there's no one here." Harry Osborn meme inserted.
Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate… Surtur, Grendel, Leviathan, and the Brood rescued last mission face annihilation by the Protoss, and only the Kukulkan Brood led by Sarah Kerrigan can save them. They hunker down for half an hour as they weather the Protoss onslaught. By the time their rescue Yggdrasils arrive, the fourth Brood has been all but decimated, and the other three are down to a scant few and their own Cerebrates.
Funny horror story: all of my men and buildings were destroyed by the zerg. I lifted all of those structures off to the nearby sea iirc, where the Zerg can't touch it (i think i killed their overlords so they can't c us), until unfortunately they Offed the buildings until there was only the Command Center left. I waited till we reached 30 minutes, and I was helluva glad that Mengsk's rescue took place.
This is quite the mission, dayum!! I can see the problem being that the most of the AOE units are not unlocked in the tech tree (and you can only rely on the spider mines...). If you got a bunch seige tanks and the valkries, I don't think this level of zerg enemies can do much.
Yeah, I had two lines of defense for this mission. I didn’t just have several bunkers covering the exits, I also had several at the entrances AS WELL as right next to the bridges crossing the river to keep the chokepoints covered and cutoff.
I remember on the first try with my friends on this three coop,we survived and even used full marines and supplies to protect it, and we survived PD: "Where did you studied tactics boys?"
If the AI send a single Overlord in the mutas horde, their attack bounce will destroy all the spider mines and let the zergling chew every turret left though
I'm also adding the cinematics to the playlist so you can watch them there.
I hope you will use Nakma's version of "The Death of the Overmind" :)
Mengsk looking at the situation: "Belay that order."
Hate to say it, but _who would blame him this time?_
What the original mission felt like when you first played it.

The Magistrate mustve really been sloppy at his job if three bunkers were on fire at the same time.
Dropships be like: You sure this is the right place? there is nothing here!
lol, my first thoughts exactly. The whole evac area was devoid of terrans and zerg alike.
Dropship pilot: Strap yourselves in, boys.
3 magistrates crawling out of ruins, all covered in zerg and human blood: Sons of Korhal, your timing could not have been better!
3:48 The moment you see this mutalisk swarm you know The Zergs are not f-ing around.
The moment you wish you have Science Vessels or Valkyres on hand.
After having no answer to the mutalisk menace, the Koprulu Sector found itself embracing the UED and their valkyries with open arms.
Bible accurate zerg swarm
Nightmare Zero Hour experience can now be experienced in SC1. How lovely.
"Who called siege tanks into my battle field lieutenant!"
"Uhhh we ain't got no tanks here sarg"
"Mother mercy... FALL BACK!"
This mission is so brutal lmao, truly feels like the zerg is unstoppable jeez
I agree, it looks much more real
Mission: hey guard this.
Nral Group: guard what?
Mission: GUARDIANS
Approximately 400 million mutalisks were deployed in this mission.
More dropships than remaining survivors.....
Jacob's Installation is going to be interesting, a no-build mission is going to be so much chaos.

Damn, that's an onslaught.
Even Psionic Yell don't do this hard.
Now this's an actual survive mission.
Well done, Executor Nral.
Since Renegade Roar had _Scouts_ on the second mission ... I shudder to think how three-player Alternate would play out. Draliska would die *A LOT.*
Strap yourselves in, boys... She said with alot of optimism

Guardians, Ultralisks, and a fuckton of Mutalisks, what could possibly go wrong?

Picked like 3 survivors lol.
And all the crew in the buildings still floating.
+ Nral's only surviving Marine, as he was on *The High Ground!* alongside floating factory.
If the AI send a single Overlord in the mutas horde, their attack bounce will destroy all the spider mines and let the zergling chew every turret left though
Zerg Forces: *Eating all Terran Forces* *Nom! Nom! Nom!*
they certainly ate well that day.
they say stra in yourself boys, when in truth they actually arrived too late
this difficulty is orders of magnitude worse than the reversed campaign, and I thought those were very hard too.
You should have taken the high ground advantage.
One of Nral's marines did and survived because of that!
Wow this is really difficult, I like it!
2:18 is this the first time we've seen nral type a message? (excluding cheatcodes)
These missions look awesome but are way too hard for the casual players looking to enjoy a zerg pizza along with friends
It seems that five dropships was a bit excessive.
One road. Easy hold.
Let's go.
Just in Nick of time
Is it exactly same difficulty just playing solo?
Yes
So this mod seems.... tricky?
Now how do i play this
