Most people ride fixed gear bikes outside of a velodrome. Therefore the bikes should at least have a front brake. The law in many countries requires two brakes (skidding is not a brake - that was tested in court). My fixed gear bike, that can also be set in single speed freewheel mode, has two brakes. Regardless I'm not mad at the brakeless riders. We have bigger problems than them.
I have front and rear brakes on my fixed since I ride it on the road just like a road bike and do thousands of feet of climbing on it up and down mountains. As mentioned in a previous videos I’ve 100 milers, 200 milers and a 500 miler with 35,000 feet of climbing on it. So yeah I have brakes on mine. Thanks for watching
If I were ritchey I might make some more mid next year, but a while from now to keep the original owners happy with the exclusivity. Or make them in a different color, that would work great to make both happy.
Sure ok and how much more are you willing to pay for a Ritchey frame? People complain already that they are too expensive compared to lower quality frames like Soma and Surly etc 18 sizes would be ridiculous expensive increase in cost of manufacturing and then total production numbers to flesh out all the sizes. I know you were just kidding but really 6 sizes is more than enough. If it doesn’t fit you then go custom and don’t complain about Ritchey not offering more than 6 sizes or on this limited run only 4. Geez people are always whining that a Ritchey doesn’t fit them. Buy something else don’t complain no one likes people that complain
Looks nice. Is it 1 1/4" DT and 1 1/8" TT? So-called "oversized". And I don't suppose you know the various wall thicknesses of the tubes? (This is much harder to measure :)
@@SeeYouUpTheRoadThe outback looks like a sweetie alright. Actually on the track or single speed I’d be less inclined to go off road and want wider tires. I don’t have a gravel bike but I do have a custom steel mtb frame and fork made around drop bars so folks think I do😉.
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad John “Fitz Cycles” Fitzgerald built it in Sonoma County CA. He’s built my lugged Rando bike and a 29’er mountain bike as well. Super nice guy and makes nice bikes. Custom racks too. He builds some beautiful Rando inspired bikes.

I wouldn’t consider it a “cheaped-out” my guess as a track bike they didn’t want to take any risks with a full carbon fork. But then you might have someone else complain that they should have gone full-on and put a steel fork on it. So you just can’t please everyone 😂
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad I think all forks should have an aluminum or steel steertube. Yeah, carbon works, but I remind you, with carbon it's not a matter of if it will fail but when.
looks beautiful, I've been sort of falling in love with some of the Ritchey stuff lately.

It really is! Thanks for watching!

You should tell the customer sorry, you changed your mind, and keep it for yourself. Great looking colour.
ha ha! I will just wait for the next run ... IF there ever is one I won't hesitate to put in a backorder. Thanks for watching!

I like the way you think!
I love the Ritchey frames BUT they need to make more sizes... sure they will "mostly fit" but so you think 4 sizes or 18 sizes offers a better fit

It’s the same tubing as a Road Logic.
I'm on the waiting list for a production run of "One" from Bishop Bikes. 😁 Won't be another bike like it in the World and it's all mine. 😉

Nice frame. Ritchey is using smart marketing with limited editions❤

Seems like they should’ve provided room for 30-34’s but maybe that’s the all roadie in me😉

As far as I know they listed the small amount they had. My distributors also got a small amount
What is the frame made of steel or aluminum? Can someone tell me!?!
@@jayceinfinitealgharhythmns9814 it’s a Ritchey - it’s steel. He doesn’t make aluminum frames he’s famous for his STEEL frames.

Oh ok, thanks! Beautiful frame by. That was something about Ritchey frames I did not know!
Try use soapy water for the decals
Please explain your suggestion . My issue with the decals - they are too thick and the adhesive doesn't seem good enough.

Beautiful colour. It’s a shame they cheaped-out on the fork. You’ll never get a full carbon fork in the same egg-plant purple.
