Thanks so much for this video. Your way of doing it with the armor mode helped dealing with the Mastiffs, but I couldn't seem to get the armor cyborgs your way. I luckily found a way to get the blade wolf to take them both out at the start of the wave and after that smooth sailing.
i haven't tried it yeeeeeeet, but i believe it simply uses the super armor mode of the charge to negate the hit interupt on a parry letting you cancel the charge with a parry at your own leizure rather then getting the exact timing down or basicly the charge attacks protection takes the hit and gives you more time to hit the perfect parry since you can switch to parry in the middle of the charge
Best way to do it is (after constant practice/attempts!!): 1. Parry both mastiffs, practice it every time they try to kick you or bounce of wall 2. Attack Blade wolf at close range in order to parry his attack/ Let him fire cannon at you and have heavily armed guards directly in front of you and then get him with the pincers 3. For the Grad, use the Sai N.B Make sure it is charged every time you throw it (takes 5-6 seconds~ before it glows) so just attack him with the sword while waiting
And for the penultimate wave (3 dwarf gekkos), equip the sai and wait for it to glow purple after attacking the first 2 dwarves then kill the last one.
Well done dude, but I can't get passed the second wave with the cyborg gorillas. They are very frustrating since there isn't any way to really hit em with patience since they won't stay still. Every time I try to do a perfect parry, I either end up dying, or not being able to do the execution parry at all, and it's driving me nuts. Any tips on those fuckers? lmfao
Can you elaborate a little on your bloodlust parry? You charge to avoid taking massive damage in case you fail or is there something else to it? I'm trying to finish the DLC VR missions and the mastiffs are my biggest problem...
Now now old boy, stiff upper lip~! just focus on the wolf in the fight (though let the wolf OHKO the hammer goons with it's knife toss 1st) the laser canon takes abit to charge up and you CAN slide attack into the wolf to interupt it (or it'll cancel the attack to dodge away) you really only need to span light attack combos on it to get it into a string of stun locks before the quick time triger pops up, they're easily beaten as long as you're agressive

And if lucky you can Zandatsu either one of the heavies
that super armor mode tip when charging blood-lust is so useful had no clue
Never mind I finally beat it! Thank you so much for the guide! Subscribed ^_^

For the first 2 waves, memorize the right side of the current wave for the next set of enemies. I have seen a video from Byakko stating that.
And for the penultimate wave (3 dwarf gekkos), equip the sai and wait for it to glow purple after attacking the first 2 dwarves then kill the last one.
You will need the Polearm 80% of the mission and the remaining 20% (last wave) you will need the Sai

Makes it look so easy.

If only it were
the person who made this video got very luck during the 3rd fight. there were a few times he came a few inches away from dieing
Can you explain in as much detail as you can how the perfect parry works when you enter super armor mode?
I have the same questions.
Still impossible
Thx but I plat'd this weeks ago lol
How does this work exactly?
