In 2008, I bought a 2007 Escalade with 15,000 miles on it, mint condition. It was dark Blue and was loaded, 22 chrome wheels. I paid $42,000 out the door and it was delivered to my home. Back when blue collar guys could have nice vehicles. Oh how times have changed, these prices are ridiculous. Beautiful SUV but not for that kinda money. No blue collar guy now a days can afford a nice vehicle anymore without massive debt.
Blame it on the guys crunching so much more tech into cars it’s unsustainable to produce cars at reduced costs. Cars have gotten bigger and so much more expensive just due to how complex they are. And the worst part is that customers are liking that so there is no incentive left for smaller affordable packaged cars even in the luxury segment. But I think things will change if Chinese EVs and cars enter the market. Plus with better union conditions wages are set to go up in the next 5 years presuming things stay the course.
@@portcybertryx222 True but you have to have them because competition does and so on and on, its an endless circle (even tho its all useless and u use 10% of features). But its true that prices are outrageous, id never give 100k$+ if we aint talking about a sports car or a supercar. No SUV or regular car is worth that much money, especially when you get hit with depriciation. I bought a 2 year old used X1, first guy paid 42k for it, 2 years later I got it for 25k with barely any milage. Il never buy a new car again with these robbing prices, theres nothing in offer that these cars have that I need that cars 10 years ago didnt already have.
Its a completely different model. Back then u had the standard, premium, platinum. If u account for inflation, u can technically still get a sport model, not the v.
Dreams are only dreams because you don't act towards them. Keep working cuz, trust me, you and I will be driving this one day. You just gotta start. Action.

@@portcybertryx222 Yea, I can do without the big screens. Most of the features these vehicles have are hardly ever or barely even used.
@@fit4ya1975 exactly. It’s absurd. Like you use those features for the first couple days and then you forget about it

That thing is insane and rad. This is one SUV I'd consider buying if I had the money and I HATE SUV's lol

You kept babying the car, you could've at least let it the car get in "Self drive" mode for a few minutes.
