This has beenn celebrated for decades, and has becomke so normal you hardly even notice any more. You just noticed that we suddenly got the fulll- range of human love intrerests instead of only seeing heterosexual couples, and thought this is a new thing.
As for pride itself, it has a verhy importasnt place in our society. For centuries we had to hide who we are, or we could literally get killed. And I do not mean 200 years ago. They they cruise arround ti find a victim, hold next to them and eitzher jump out and beat them up right there, or froce them into the van. Gag them and drive them to an indulstrhial area , and beat and tortzure them there. Many have been killed this way, and for decades the polic had zero interest in investigatzing these.
Heck there wherhe even scandasls for example where 5 men attacked a drag queen and did not realize that beeing kicked likem a mule with stillettos has a devestating effect Literally kicked them right throuzgh several feel , a groin and finally got stjuck in a shoulker but it was in down to the sole.
