Hello Adama. Can we have more videos about the SRE Career path- give insights to certification/training platforms, time it will require to know the Fundamentals ...
Thanks for sharing. I think SRE just another fancy name of devops and cloud engineer but for someone who works for those big names, but basically doing the same thing
Thank you for your insightful video. I have the final SRE next week. How much programming language do I need to know? I am in cloud support and know how to work around the command line in linux, networking, and OS. I am at a beginner level with python just nervous about that part.
Absolutely hilarious. Loved the delivery. And adding the salary at the end was a nice touch. Not an SRE but I became very interested in it recently as i believe it would be an invaluable career experience to have as a software engineer.
That is very interesting i have never hear of it but i have been in tech for 10 years + Its cool, But i do most of these stuffs as a software developer/ cyber security expert.
You have no idea how happy I am to find this video! I think you accidentally posted it on your main channel? Idk lol, either way I have an interview tomorrow for a junior position but don't no much about it!
@@adamatalkstech it's something similar, I think it involves working under SREs. I managed to pass that part of the interview, so now I have to more to go lol!
I don't have any experience with Azure Cloud specifically but I have a link to the common resources that SREs use that may be a good place to start: stan.store/adamalorna/p/free-sre-resource-guide
@@adamatalkstech I'm a DevOps/SRE engineer, the 300-400k, if even an actual value may only be the top .05%. A more accurate amount, which is still very good is around 175k top with some reaching a little over 200k. This is in US dollar.
I got an apprentice role for SRE. This got me really excited!
Yayyyy!

Hi @ Adama
Thank you a lot
Please, Can you share a roadmap for SRE
What IT areas I should cover?
Please share some websites or study links that a lead azure cloud SRE must know
I don't have any experience with Azure Cloud specifically but I have a link to the common resources that SREs use that may be a good place to start: stan.store/adamalorna/p/free-sre-resource-guide
Please post more on this channel
Besides being extremely attractive, smart lady! What are your recommendations to get into SRE?
Sis,I am interested in DevOps or SRE.
What coding language must I start with.
JavaScript or Python?
Please advise.❤
Python is a great and versatile language that a lot of SREs use 😊
👏👏👏👏👏
please talk about jobs you can have with a CS degree that pay if you dont mind thou lol
Did she work all day night production issues, oncall , having to write up post mortem ,toil same as sys admin 1/4th pay
You can only make 300-400k a year with 7-10 year experience. Nice clickbait.

I was hired to be sysadmin, but now I see that I'm SRE. LOL
But the salary remains the same. hahahaha
There’s a lot of overlap with other roles so not surprised!
