So happy to see the melody of one of my favorite 80's song => Kim Wilde's "Cambodia" is back ! I grew up with this song. I had it on my favorite songs compiled cassette and used to listen every day many times to that song. I remmeber laying on the grass of our garden looking at the clear night sky with this song on my walkman and dreaming away. Those were the days. Back then it took us quite an effort to get our favorite songs on our cassette as we had to wait the song appearing on radio and pushing the record button, most important was that the radio DJ had to shut up during the whole song, which was not the case many times, so we rewinded back and had to wait until next run of the song on the radio !
Yes, yes, yes, this is exactly what I had to go through as well. Bloody dickhead DJ's talking over the beginning of the song, so annoying. And yes, the mix/compilation cassettes, love it. I've still got mine from the '80's!
