Very inspirational... Parents, your children may not always grow up to be as talented or as successful as Kevin Durant, but if you take care of him, her or them passionately and determinately, they will always pay back all the effort with love and everything else they achieve during their lifetime.
Just to think that this woman made one of the most talented, respectful, friendly, and loving people of all time is amazing. These kind of people don't come along anymore. Thank You Wanda for giving me a good role model.
wayne pratt Kevin's father abandoned wanda pratt(her name is now durant which is her maiden name) and both his son's when kevin was 1. The family got kicked out of the family home due to not having the money to pay the mortgage, as you would imagine since wanda would be a stay at home mother and not be working . She managed to support both her son's despite all this, to all you idiot's commenting on here LEARN THE FACT'S BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING STUPID, imagine if that were your mother how would you feel???she gave those kid's all her love now look where they are.

Man even though I'm glad Lebron got his ring, I cried when I saw how Kevin fell into his mother's arms after the game and I know he was crying. No worries Kevin, this game is going to get good and we will see you again in the play offs, The Thunder is a young team and he is young, he has plenty of time to get his ring. Keep his head up.
