Good day sir, I'm a retired mechanical engineer and I'm building rocket batch heaters here in the USA for folks to burn 10 th of the wood they have before and less carbon added to the enviorment. Thank you for building and sharing with the world.
It is just a gimmick; the price is too high for the average person in the region. How could this stove help to save the environment when it is not affordable for average people in the region?
Mr Russell Collins is a genius and an Australian. His stove is saving tens of thousands of trees and helping the environment as well as improving people’s health yet he is almost unknown in Australia.
Great stove...I'm curious about the biomass pellets....can they be produced locally without much expensive infrastructure, or are they made remotely and transported over distance? Can sustainable woodland management be practiced/promoted so that local wood can still be used? Are local trees able to be coppiced? Short rotation, small diameter poles are easy to cut and carry.
Good questions. Generally speaking in India there are vast amounts (many megatons) of waste biomass from agriculture and there are already mature industries that are pelletising this waste for fuel. Up to now most of this waste is used by industry but we are now able to offer a modular attachment to our stoves that allows for usage for domestic space heating. We are still working on the supply chain side of things and reducing the transportation distances is definitely an issue we are aware of. Setting up localised manufacture through micro industries is also in consideration, although we will probably need a certain amount of scale for the enterprise to be viable economically. This is a rapidly evolving part of the industry so things are changing quickly.
One step further on this line is to heat water at same time. and i have seen a bench made of clay brick also surround heating element and why how many purposes by being cleaver. Romans i understand did it right when it came to how efficient their public baths were.
We have 2 options, 12L and 25L stainless steel tanks that fit onto the exhaust exit for hot water from waste heat. We call it a Hammam in India, you can see these on our FB page: facebook.com/himalayanrocketstove
Was thinking that myself. If it operated like a drip oiler possibly You'd need a timed drip assembly to drip it onto fire brick or ceramic burner that would still need pellets or wood to get preheating enough to vaporize the oil and perhaps ignite it reliable ..
Not yet, due to the high cost of shipping, but we are looking for a local manufacturer in the US to solve this issue. If anyone has any leads, please email me on admin@rocketmandesigns.com
We are trying to get this into Nepal... it has been difficult to transport and set up distribution in Nepal, but still we are trying. Please follow our page on Facebook (/himalayanrocketstove ) for updates about this.
Good day! How do I get more information on how to build the rocket stove? I’d like to offer this to the northern part of the Philippines, where the temperature gets a little cool. Thank you!
The external appearance may have been the same for generations, that was our intention to make it look and feel the same. The internal mechanism, however, is completely novel.
@@waqasksatti we are not able to export to Pakistan due to political reasons, however we are now working with a local partner to set up manufacturing in Pakistan. Please email me on admin@himalayanrocketstove.com for more details.
I want look ,how do work in factory, as sheet cutting , cutting sheet welding, scientific measurements, air principle, air is mix gas , more air , more oxezen, hidroxen, Burning with oxezen , if green tree has around , befit of more oxezen , more fire generate , in iron ECO 1.
It's just a gimmick. The price is too high for common people in the region. This design will not have any impact to save environment unless all ordinary folks in the rural Himalayan region could afford it to use this stove.
Yeah right and how much CO2 will your industries and factories will produce manufacturing these stoves? And don’t tell me that CO2 will not effect the environment, amazing business strategy.

Worry about the carbon print somewhere in Europe not the Himalayas
When the Himalayan area turns to crap the whole planet will
Yes. Easier to slow development of nations with billions of ppl before they make the same mistakes
CHYYNA
It is up to all of us to contribute to solving the global issues wherever we can. No one region can do it all, but each region can do its share.
