I worked for Mexicana back in the day, and I very much agree on how much of a beast this airplane is. I especially remember the bulk comparment, it was the equivalent of a walk-in closet.... everything on that plane was just mega sized

Wow, those crips ground textures. Finally an airport that has them. Cause even with addons, some of those black lines (dont know there correct term) are just textures and blurry. And here they are actually 3dimensional and are actually "gaps" between the concrete plates
I don’t know if anyone has noticed flying AF in real life, but in several real world flights I have noticed they like to have the Airbus in flaps 1 on approach then drop the gear then continue the flap extension.

Hi Richard, the A330 doesn’t have a separate dimmer for the overhead. Why would it have one? I don’t see the use in it, just use one control for them all. Ps.: You spelled my name correctly 👍😄

Maybe it is just the Retina Burning over the top lights in MSFS 2024 that need dialling down a bit both inside and out. Look forward to your next Video. Does your game freeze when you finish the flight after flying one of the inibuilds planes? There are many users, myself included, who experience this issue every single time. It keeps me away from flying their planes.
The bug for GSX, it happened also in MSFS2020, It remains stuck on pushback in the departure airport. The only solution is to restart Couatl. This will do the trick 😉
Given up on 2024 for the moment even after spending 450 on gfx card to make it work better which it does I still get the horrible stutters after last patch. 2024 is an embarrassment to MS/Asobo and carnt be bothered with it for 6months. All the money I saved for 2024 addons I’ve just spent on XP12 out of principle that works pretty good. I try 2024 again when it works or A350 comes out which will probably be ages now as Ini too busy fixing stuff maybe who knows. Thx for videos glad you at least seem to get it to work have fun
It’s interesting what kind of different experiences people have with the new sim. Ever since I installed it I am using the new sim exclusively (with the exception of beta testing) and by now I am quite happy with it.
@@A330Driver if you fly between downloaded airports with fenix it’s not bad. But since the last patch I have a horrible stutter like other ppl which makes it unplayable. Before that patch it was ok.
Why everytime you are walking around you are happy to see no chocks. Isn't your plane supposed to be secured during the whole turnaround and until voice contact is made between flight crew and ground crew? Usually during pushback procedure. As a former ground agent, I am 99% you will never see an aircraft unchocked like this, especially with equipements attached to it 😮

@Emanuel You said that the inibuilds A330 is the best simulated A330 addon. However, the Altitude Callouts are not from the A330/A340 family. They just use the Altitude Callouts from the A320 family. Also aerosoft did that and LatinVFR in the A340. That is something which bothers me. Would like to know your view.
Hi, I said it is the best and I stand by it. “The best” doesn’t mean it’s perfect, it is surely not. After each and every flights I’m sending bug reports to ini. There’s a lack of competition on the A330 market which might easily have the potential to become better than this one. But the only serious competition is the ToLiss and I truely believe the better graphics and sounds of the ini beats the better systems and flight dynamics of the ToLiss when it comes to overall immersion. Regarding the callouts: I honestly never noticed. It’s not one of those things I’d even care about as a pilot. Plus that I’m wearing a headset anyway during approach and landing so I wouldn’t really notice if there were slight differences because what I hear with my own ears underneath the ANR Headset is different than what anybody else would hear without one anyway.
@A330Driver Thanks for your answer. The callouts are different as day and night. Just compare the callouts HUNDRED ABOVE and MINIMUM between A330/A340 and A320 family. The A330/A340 has a totally different callout recording version. In my opinion the A330/A340 sounds more aggressive. Many A330s including A330 neo, have an aggressive 1000 callout, too. As sounds play a major role in flightsimming for me, I notice such little things. P.S. I hope that one day, somebody will offer realistic Honeywell RAAS female and male voice. I am really tired of this google translator type voice from FS2Crew. Greetings!

It certainly isn’t. Especially when proper derates are used it can easily take 30 minutes to get up to cruise level. Sometimes even 35.
