Send a Message to a Veteran | Will’s story

Will served in the Royal Navy, but a back injury cut his career short.
His world fell apart, and he became depressed and isolated, with Christmas being a particularly difficult time of year. Will shares how Help for Heroes stepped in and gave him a sense of self-worth and purpose again.
The charity is on a mission to support other isolated veterans, like Will, by encouraging people to write a kind message on their online message wall and show veterans and their families they’re not forgotten. 💙
