I take advantage of 0% interest for XX months from Home Depot. They will send me notification that if I spend a certain amount I can get it for 0% for a certain time frame. That is how I got my new stove (mine was 23 years old), new washer/dryer, and supplies for all of home improvements I am doing (painting/patching and replacement front porch). All were paid off each time in about 3 to 5 months so I always paid them off long before they expired.

The interest is on the purchase amount it’s just deferred you should see the deferred interest on your statement.

We all live in the real world here in the USA and if you don't have a credit card, than you better get another job. Dave Ramsey financial way is okay but not the whole answer. I believe in having a home it would have taken me a life time to save up $275,000 to buy my house in cash. Same for a car. We had $35,000 worth of credit card debt. I refinanced my home been living in it for 9 years and paid off our credit cards. It was like being a hamster and running on the wheel trying to get ahead.

Great information. I plan to have $5 k of debt paid in full by 12/31/24. . . . Double check your balance on you Lowe’s card. You have about a $500 error.
