In todays video we completely debadge my 2021 Chevy Silverado LT Trail boss 6.2! In the video you will see the techniques that i use to remove badges from your vehicle!
I have black Trailboss and did this and installed Z71 black emblems. Heat gun, I used weed whacker trimmer wire to pull emblem off, definitely need the pinstripe eraser wheel with drill attachment (like $13), wax and buff. Great video. Thanks for the education!

I think you should adjust the D badged everywhere else except for the tailgate I left the tailgate the way it was . I have a 99 Toyota Tacoma pre-runner that’s white and ID badge everywhere except for the tailgate and I like it

Also, my 2021 Trailboss is black on black and I plastidipped all my badges black. Looks awesome. Another thing I did was dark smoke my rear tail light above the cab to match my tail lights. You said that you don’t want to take the trail boss stickers off because it takes away from what type of Silverado it is, but you rather takeoff the nice Z 71 badging like it’s not gonna take away from the type of Silverado package on the truck. The Z 71 badging looks good on the truck instead of that sticker for a trail boss. You’re not making sense to not takeoff the sticker but you want to takeoff the Z 71 badge.

For those looking to do this, get yourself a bottle of Rapid Remover off of Amazon. Completely safe for the paint and literally melts any left over adhesive so you can wipe it away. (After using the eraser wheel, of course.)
Looks awesome! One thing that I think would look really nice is if you had a custom made 6.2 emblem that you could mount to the grille, off to the side somewhere. That way, you can maintain that clean look and still let everyone know the beast you have under the hood.
I like the look. I have a silver Trailboss and debadged mine and removed the Trailboss sticker as well. I dig the clean look! The inlays will make the rear end pop.
So I just got my new mustache piece for my 2016 Silverado. After royally fucking up the factory one, I ordered another one. So fair I’ve sanded it down with some 300 something grit sand paper and sprayed It black, let it dry for a day or so, and then sprayed it white on top. Using the black as an acting primer. So far the white has adhered to the black very well, next step is to clear coat it after a day or 2 of drying in my living room. Then it’ll be time to smack that bad Larry on to my truck and see how it holds up to the elements. Which that’s my main concern, how will it hold up to rain, dirt, pebbles and pressure wash. Hopefully the white and clear coat adheres to the black paint really well.

The truck looks sick!!!!! Quick question. On your 18 did you ever have wheel bearing problems when you did the leveling kit a wheels and tires? I did a 3 inch moto fab kit and 22x12 with 33's on my 2015 ltz Z71 and right after I experienced a hum and vibration in the front really bad at certain speeds and I'm told it's a bad bearing. I only have 56k on the truck

Don’t put badges on it please. It’s way too clean to have badges. If someone doesn’t know it’s got a 6.2 they can just figure it out when the light turns green

For the Trail Boss sticker on the rear, you might be able to find an identical one in black, I did that for my 2017 Z71 stickers

You can get a black and Gray factory vinyl decal if you want. The red is what’s so out of place
