- With drives in excess of 400 yards, Kyle Berkshire is the undisputed longest golfer on the planet. The Cobra staffer takes us through the three drivers in his bag, why he rarely uses the big stick on the course and the benefits of choking down on the iron.
Wow this deserves tons of views, Kyle really goes above and beyond for these guys in this video.
I could listen to Kyle and Bryson talk about golf and long drive all day. They are not only absolute students of the game but they are looking for every advantage they can get no matter how far out of the box it is. They’re willing to try anything to advance not only their game but the sport itself.
A witb like no other. Thanks for all the insight Kyle!
Really...really impressive video Kyle. No just a bomber but a technical golfer at +2 .... 🤯
He was almost dead last in that tournament he just played
@@debrajohnson4689 he’s a +2 handicap. Not sure I remember seeing your name on the LPGA tour list
@@kylesmith245 Well maybe if I was playing golf since I was 2 years old like Kyle has lol
So much science involved in golf with this guy it's incredible to listen to. Very knowledgeable and loves to share the knowledge as well and a hell of a player.
Kyle Burnttire, the man, the myth, Mr. Longest Ball! Great content right there!
I think Mr. Long Balls was an opportunity missed 😂
Love this - especially the loft and gap over number thing. And love Kyle - great player and guy - a real star!!!
I could never imagine worrying about caving a 1 iron.
Great presentation guys.
Missing in the right spots is such good advice. Some really wayward shots in the masters, really wayward, would be lost on my home course, but they end up keeping it in play and a shot at par
I'm interested to know more about taping the driver head.
You'll still be bad.
With consistent tournament play, is it possible KB could be a contending pro?
So did I hear you write your play shaft is stiffer than your world long drive shaft?
Yes.
He got sponsored by cobra when him and Bryce started dating each other
So he was wrong about the stepping, its the opposite. Those x7 are super stiff. Dustin johnson plays x100 (softer than an x7), and softs steps them. This guy plays around with 1 or 2 hard steps.
Is the tape on the head just regular duck tape?
Most likely ledtape
Lead tape
Nothing's gonna help ur slice buddy
Hard stepping is the other way around
have u made a cut yet?
putter made by scotty.
"ingrained tempo", lol. Un-ingrain it and he'll have a better shot on tour. Wedges aren't meant to be hit with a 135 mph clubhead speed.
Tempo and speed are two very different things
Jesus loves you all and died for our sins..
So why would you shave the face of a driver if it was causing it to cave or crack? This should not even be allowed
He talks too damn much
Thats why im here baby
Really impressed with Kyle in this video. He’s really improved on camera. Awesome technical explanation’s.
Check out his UA-cam channel. His game from tee to green is solid and he goes deep into detail on almost every shot
Cobra made a smart choice, bringing Kyle on board. He represents the product well and speaks tech well too.
pls stop interrupting kyle mid-sentence
Wow very impressive guy, I never really heard him explain the sport and what he's looking to do , Awesome, very well spoken , ok Thanks guys , Big Fan now!!
1 iron is like 15-17 degrees, that’s a 0 iron
Where does one buy a 1 iron ?
Hard stepping is the other way around. Because club heads are heavier as they go down, they effectively make the shafts play softer.
Music in the background is so unnecessary and hella annoying whilst you're trying to listen to what Kyle's saying.
Opposite, 6iron shaft into a 4iron to hardstep
I thought it was putting a 4 iron shaft in a 6 iron but instead of cutting it at the butt end they shorten the tip so it stiffens it up more.
@@chubeviewer Wouldn't that just simply be tipping a 4 iron length shaft to the same stiffness as a 6 iron? If you look at a stepped shaft like DG's the steps around the tip gets closer to the head as higher lofted club's heads are heavier and the tips are stiffer to counter that. Hard stepping makes the shaft stiffer as the steps are closer to the club head (= 6 iron shaft in to a 4 iron). If he was to put a tipped 4 iron shaft into a 6 iron, a tipped 6 iron shaft would be stiffer. On top of that, I think you'd have to tip it a significant amount to make a 4I shaft stiffer than a 6, so that wouldn't leave too much length on the butt. Making a pretty butt soft shaft.
@@flUmaRouS you are correct. Hard step is 6 iron shaft in 4 iron
Got more than you expected..didn’t you .. Kyle has really grown well , with Bryson .. great to see one ☝️ pull up ⬆️ another with him to superstardom ..
The limit of time placed on golf clubs is 239 milliseconds
Kyle is so well-spoken, totally impressive dude athletically and personally. Very easy to root for this guy
love this guy
Just talk ?
He talks funny. And super drawn out. You can tell he was trying to move Kyle along…
i think that’s cause kyle is partially deaf
Dosent kyle have or had a krank driver head I believe
he used to
Cobra…. Crappiest company in the industry. I cracked the carbon on the crown of my 4 month old rad speed driver. Sent in for a new head under the one year warranty they wouldn’t warranty the item. Figure for a company that holds so little of the market they would honor their warranty. NOPE! Never again.
Need a receipt for this
