But house has matured like fine wine. And it’s got real teeth now too! But this guy: He is my absolute favorite. Just everything about him. The mystery. The amazing technical skill. 89 records in his Essential Mix that was a week or three ago! And I mix so I heard a lot of the transitions coming in and then going out and all the things in between. The past four months have been a lot of Claptone. It started with a UA-cam Mixmag set. I really did like him, but I did not know he was that nasty on the decks until very recently. Sorry for the long response I don’t have any Claptone obsessed friends so....
I listen to his other sets... I know the songs.. I listen to them all day... and then I try to mix them like him... Never. He’s such a master. But watching some of his other sets.. live sets, the closing set of alPacha that’s going around for instance.. and then sets like these at home... he’s just as good in the club on the fly as he is at home. His transitions and buildups are flawless. And it comes from just being one with the house music. One with the love. Absolutely my main inspiration

I just wasn’t expecting it...The man is a true lover of music...I’m just happy he loves us enough to share it. He is better than he’s ever been....I hope he never quits sharing....And I hope the world will allow me to see him somewhere someday...The masquerade stage at tomorrow land in 2017 seemed like a great place. Eli and Fur Crushed it, and then Claptone Was pure magic as it turned from day to night. I heard the masquerade stage put the main stage to shame for that particular instance
SO FRESH!! I loved the 'In The Circus' shows, absolutely adored a few of them. But you could tell the themes were gettin hard to make sets for. This though, this is Sir Claptone at his finest :)
