ive got about 6 dutch bands in my vinyl collection ive got 2 copies of sweet smoke just a poke one lp has a great picture on the otherside.checkout group 1850 ive got 2 lps by this band & there is a 45 that is called misty night.i first come across that single on a bootleg called pebbles 15 the continent lashes back the netherlands 1965-1968.its got Q 65,dragonfly,the outsiders group 1850 & more.if you love the 60s underground your most welcome to checkout my library playlists ive got a list with over 3500 top rarities most are on small independent labels & unknown to the masses.ive been covering the 60s underground music scenes for well over 28 years i add to my lists weekly & any true music lover is most welcome great post a truly great band..
@@tonyfaelens3626 there are 2 bands with the same name happens a lot the usa band your talking about i think was on a pebbles comp i think they only done one 45 or it was on their other releases called highs in the mid sixties.they are bootlegs & some tunes sound really poor but others sound pretty good & better than the boulders comps.which were some of the first comp lps covering rare 60s garage.people were introduced to music no one knew existed by both labels boulders did 10 lps.but aip records have done loads.the pebbles series is still going today.i cant remember how many highs in the mid sixties lp comps they did but its also vital if you wanna learn about rare 60s music.i guess there might be books now but back in the late 70,s 80,s & 90s bootlegs were the only way to tap into this talent.i brought quite a few 45,s that i learned about through aip records & boulders so im always grateful i found these labels because the knowledge these bands existed was vital.oh yeah check out akarma records official lp reissues on analogue vinyl from the mastertapes.i got two double lps called the psychedelic crown jewels vol 1 & 2 top notch comps also checkout eva records a french label they did some amazing comps peace ...

Sweet Smoke not only flew under the radar, they managed to drive the whole scene in luxuriant fashion, embellishing the spirit of time with ungodly sense of melody. Absolutely mental
