I really liked Yui. She was a very interesting character. And a Spoiler alert, just in case Pretty smart killer. Her plan was good and I liked how she acted during the trial. She almost won at one point. And not by luck but by her deliberate effort. She was really fascinating to watch.
I never realized her twin tails were music notes. That’s awesome Edit: how am I so stupid those are treble clefs. I’ve been in chorus since 5th grade and used to take piano lessons
(Btw sorry I always write paragraphs in the comments) Yui is currently a top 3 for me right now. Sure she’s pretty awful, but she’s great at it and her personality comes from really realistic trauma! Im wondering if Shinku may get Yui to open up or at least show him her REAL self. Also, what happened to her mother? Is she dead? Never there? Cause for her to care so much about her dad and make herself to be “Daddy’s little princess” like the spoiled princess stereotype yet have nothing to talk about with her mother stuck out for me. I feel like her father planned out Yui’s life FOR her, and put pressure on her to be perfect, be an almost-princess who is adored by the public. To the point where he despises Yui whenever she accomplishes anything and expects praise. And the phrase “There’s no ugly people, just lazy people.”?! It feels like your pushing any problems about physical appearance to just “being lazy about it” hello?! I’m so intrigued by this, by Yui. I can’t wait to see where you take her character! :D
Okay, so... I'm not gonna give Yui an analysis. Not an immediate one. One, because usually when I do an anyalisis five seconds after a song's posted I end up rushing it lol, and second of all, Conductor.mp3. That...brought a new perspective into everything But I'll say this, I either thought Yui would be a fantastically tragic character or a total bitch, but a well written one. It's looking towards the former imo.
