I used to sing this song when I was in prison, this helped me not to go insane. Even now its helping me with my recovery from drug addiction. When Im in a dark place in my life, I listen to this song. It helps me to be not resentful of the past and to be unafraid of the future, it reminds me to just live in the moment

As I've really been struggling with self esteem, self worth, depression, anxiety and have been feeling super low lately, finding this song on my morning commute on the train - it means so much to me! I'm trying as hard as I can to not cry on the train as all of these feelings are suddenly welling up unexpectedly!
I've always been a Mraz fan, but in this long term rut of depression I've forgotten a lot of what makes me happy. I'm setting this as my morning alarm song to remind me that I can and deserve to be happy.

This song was inspired by the yoga classes that Mraz attends. He explained to Billboardmagazine: "I wanted to create a song that was mantras, it was affirmations. I honestly get my best material from yoga classes. At the end of a class, a teacher will tell you something so simple yet so profound and that sticks with you throughout your day and it shows up with how you interact with others or how you interact with your own tasks. This song was kind of a collection of all that I've been learning the last couple of years that might empower a listener if one should choose to sing it."
