This is one of the poorer post-apoc entries I have watched. I know it's lo-budge, but it's a strain to see exactly how it is post apoc. All we see is a bruised young girl wandering around an abandoned housing development with coordinates and an old picture looking for something. Or put another way... if it wasn't labeled "post-apocalyptic" what would you think this movie short is about? A young girl wandering around looking for her drug dealer boyfriend? See? There is nothing in the film that makes this post-apoc, but the viewers react to it as if it were simply because it was labeled that way. The joke is on the viewers. There are many more convincing and compelling post-apoc and sci-fi low budget shorts on UA-cam.
At least she looks the part. So many post-apoc movies with characters wandering about for ages and still looking like they just went out of the hairdresser's, with their Sunday clothes on and freshly pressed... ;-)
Suggestion: She made a compass out of a leaf and water so she could tell which direction the fallout from the nuclear attack was going to come from, assuming that was the type of post apocalypse world this was supposed to portray.
This was a wonderful from a aesthetic standpoint. Story-wise, it's really difficult to know what is happening. Left with many questions as who was there, a family member, some random psycho in this new lawless world? Yeah I wish it was more clear as to why she's going there and WHO it was. Alongside with what actually happened to the world itself
3:25 Use plain old, activated charcoal powder on that and it will kill all bacteria and heal within days. The stuff is absolutely incredible. I buy ours from a seventh day Adventist store. It is a big tub for 10 bucks.
Tolle Kameraarbeit, coole Kulisse, stimmungsvolle und professionelle Musik. Aber die ganze Zeit nur jemanden dabei zu beobachten, wie er/sie leere Häuser etc. durchsucht, ist auf Dauer ziemlich öde. Ein bisschen mehr Handlung z.B. auch über Dialoge oder meinetwegen auch Action wären durchaus wünschenswert gewesen.
Sulfett Echt? Wo ist das denn? Alle verlassenen Orte die ich kenne, sehen nicht mal ansatzweise so typisch nach „Deutschland“ aus wie diese Gebäude dort.
