Former US president's sister, Dr Auma gives her speech at Sauti Kuu Centre in Kogelo. She passes a strong message that Luo's need to start taking care of themselves.
Former US President Barack Obama asked Kenyan leaders to push for equal opportunities as a way of fighting poverty and encouraging resilience. In his speech at the launch of a community initiative in Kogelo, Mr Obama said he was encouraged by political developments in the country, especially when opposition leader Raila Odinga reconciled with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Very eloquent and orator Dr. Auma. I hope we have the Doctorate like you in the Gambia instead of a Dr who is not doing nothing for his community in the Gambia but just sitting down at his comfort zone expecting president Adama Barrow to do everything for the Gambia in less than 2 years in power. We need a visionary and creator of opportunity for Gambians in rural and urban communities particularly rural communities to avoid rural to urban migration. I strongly believe Dr. Auma last statement " IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR COMMUNITIES , DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT BUT DO IT".
