Hey, nice build! Was wondering, at 7:54 the node embrace darkness says directly use. As we proc abyssal echoes with void cleave, shouldnt we not have this buff? Or how does it work? Still new to the game, thanks!
I thought the same thing originally, but I noticed I was getting the Nether Coating buff even when I proc'd it with Void Cleave. It looks like a shadow preparing to strike in a little circle by my health bar when it is active. Cheers!
is there really not a better weapon for void knight? im using it from lvl 65, and I would love options to get upgrades, what about MEROPHAGE with sick shattre crafting? no chance ?
I've tried a few weapons. Merophage could be killer with the right shatters. Apathy's is just so on the nose cause it gives a HUGE amount of flat melee void damage, which scales nicely with not only the VK's passives but also scales void cleave and erasing strike nicely. Another weapon to look at would be the Odachi as it comes with a massive amount of crit multi already baked into the implicit, but I would only consider Odachi's with some flat void melee damage.
I run typically the same loot filter on most character. Filter out the whites, then blues, then yellows based off of gear I already have. Add a rule to show me all class affixes for shattering purposes. And then a rule to show me all tier 7 affixes. I keep it simple. I add in any additional rules based off of need for that character.
I'm planning on doing Void Cleave on Paladin on launch. Instead of Erasing strike, I'll be using Multistrike to buff up Void Cleave. It'll depend on the gear I get! Cheers!

So I am curious why rebuke is on your tray and not abyssal echoes? I might have missed something
Abyssal Echos is proc'd by void cleave, so I use an unspecced rebuke for big damage mitigation

I don't use normal movement abilities. I got Void Cleave set to be a traversal skill
